I had no idea what to do when my dad passed away someone told me to call a funeral home so I did and I'm glad I called this one. I told them my dad wanted to be cremated and they literally took it from there and helped me with everything that needed to be done for that to happen. I really appreciated all the information they gave me to help me put my dad to rest I made the right choice in calling them. They are very accommodating to your wishes and helped me get through all of it. I highly recommend them.

John has been extremely helpful and compassionate in the past. Scanlin helped my mom make arrangements for my brother. They were there for me to make decisions regarding my mother's arrangements. My aunt turned to them for one of my cousin's. When I learned that my daughter passed unexpectedly, on December 25, 2025, I can say that knowing Scanlin Cremation and Burial would be there to help me through this, brought comfort to me in the midst of unimaginable grief. I was so thankful that I already had good experiences with John Scanlin. He was amazing helping me through the most difficult thing that I have ever been faced with. He was very patient and compassionate whenever I had questions or needed to make a decision. I could not possibly imagine anyone else helping my family through this awful time or any other future times that our family need cremation and/or funeral arrangements. I definitely recommend John Scanlin and his business Scanlin Cremation and Burial to every and any
