Recently, our family experienced a great loss our father passed away. We did not want him to be cremated and instead decided to send his body home to Belarus. We called several funeral homes, but none of them had experience with international repatriation to our country and no one could guarantee it was even possible. Calvin was the exception. He impressed us with both his professionalism and his compassion. He not only gave us hope but immediately took on this challenging task. There were many bureaucratic hurdles along the way, but Calvin was always quick to respond, contacted embassies, resolved issues, and stayed in touch even late at night. He supported us every step of the way, went above and beyond, and never let us lose hope. We chose Personal Alternatives and never once regretted it. People and professionals like Calvin are rare. We are deeply grateful to Calvin and his team.
Very respectful and friendly staff.
Very friendly, all around good folks

They are so nice, sweet, relaxed, kind, loving and funny. Love them all through this whole difficult process. They made it easy and even made last minute changes to the death certificate no problem.Just super nice and easy going.Thank you.
When my husband passed away, the hospice included Cady Cremation on the list of funeral homes that provided good service. I was not disappointed. The people at Cady were compassionate and focused on what I wanted and needed. They went out of their way to be helpful. I used their facility for the memorial gathering, and when one of my guests developed a medical emergency, they went above and beyond to help us handle it. The prices were reasonable, too. I highly recommend them.
We had a family member die in Washington state. He has no family there. He died unexpectedly and very young (38). Thankfully the hospital social worker provided me with several low cost cremation services. He died at such a young age. There was not a life insurance policy. We explained that we needed a low cost cremation and we were not turned away. Because of financial instability we were unable to fly to Seattle we had to do everything over the phone and through email. Holly was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure Cory was handled with care and dignity. She sent his ashes to several family members who live far apart per our request. She also sent a lock of his hair and his finger prints. The cost was so much less than other places but he was treated like royalty. We were treated the same way. Holly showed us love, kindness, and compassion. I don't have enough words to express how amazing Holly is. Please consider this service if you should ever need it. You won't be disappo

I only have positive and amazing things to say about my experience at Marlatt Funeral Home. My family and I were lucky enough to work with Melissa who was patient and great to work with from start to finish. She helped answer all our questions leading up to the date. Our friends and family said the entire service was beautiful. We were also able to live stream the event which was really special for our out-of-state family. Marlatt has great pricing and even better staff. You can tell that they really care about the people they work with. I will always be grateful that they helped give my mom the celebration she deserved.
The services from Marlatt Funeral Home were excellent. They made this difficult time easier to deal with.

Very quiet, I was the only one there. Nice property, does need a bit of upkeep, but it's beautiful.
Thank you for the pamphlet! It really help us with our lossd
My dog's remains were cremated by West Coast Pet Memorial. The urn we received had his name misspelled - it was clearly a typo. I sent them an email kindly letting them know of the mistake and they immediately responded with a very nice apology and offered to replace the urn for us. They even hand delivered it, same day, to our doorstep! They clearly understand the grief, otherwise they wouldn't have gone above and beyond to fix their mistake. I am so appreciative! THANK YOU!

My father was recently laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetary. Words seem insufficient to properly express my experience and the degree of respect I have for everyone involved. From the gentlemen who greeted us, to the Chaplain, bugler, firing squad and the two young soldiers who folded and presented the flag, none could not have conveyed a more somber and respectful sense of heartfelt, precise and powerful beauty. I felt honored to be in their presence and my father had the most perfect send off a soldier could ask for. God Bless everyone who volunteers for that amazing duty and the souls of all of our fallen veterans, past, present and future.
I love going coming here often to pay my respects
Rest in peace Harold Armstead Covington

We were treated with kindness, and the viewing was provided with sensitivity and respect. Other questions were handled with equal compassion and care. Our only issue was getting a call back to confirm the date and time of that viewing.
