My experience was very POSITIVE,AND PLEASANT....DIANE AND JO CATHY WERE VERY PATIENT AND WALKED ME THROUGH EVERYTHING I NEEDED STEP BY STEP! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON MY GRANDMOTHER, SHE LOOKED BEAUTIFUL AS IF SHE WERE SLEEPING....THANK YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING AND ALSO MALIK!!

Please dont judge a book by the cover. This means just because this funeral home is located on the great westside of Chicago, doesnt mean you will get anything less than quality and professional services. Id like to thank RB Fountain and his entire staff for taking excellent care of my mom. Myself and family was extremely pleased by the quality work and care during this difficult time. I had the unfortunate circumstance of my mother and father passing within a month of each other. In both cases we used the services of Smith Corcoran and they were wonderful. Dana helped with a beautiful open casket funeral for my mother. The facilities are elegant and it really is just the perfect venue. Karen helped to provide the cremation services for my father and the process went so smoothly and efficiently we never even had to communicate beyond the initial meeting. In all cases, I've found the employees at Corcoran to be knowledgeable, helpful and sincerely great people to work with. Thank you for all that you've done for my family.

The audio on the stream was hard to listen to due to the echo. Other than that it was nice to be able to watch from long distance.m

I cannot recommend Smith-Corcoran highly enough. I had a distant cousin pass away with no nearer relative and only thirty days to collect her body from the Cook County Medical Examiner, but I live 200 miles away in another state. Eric and the staff here took care of collecting my relative's remains, kept in constant and easy communication about all issues, walking me through the bureaucratic issues, and even came in early when I made the trip to Chicago to pick up her ashes on my way to a morning probate court appointment. I only wish the legal process were as smooth and pleasant as Smith-Corcoran made the mortuary arrangements. I would give six stars if I could.

Let me start off by saying Thank you Tyra Watson and Southwest Memorial Funeral Home. This Funeral Home has been serving my family for three generations now. I recently buried my mom this year January the 5th. By this being my first time ever having to handle funeral arrangements Miss Tyra was a blessing she made this process painless and easy. She was with me every step of the way. The staff in team also was very attentive to my needs. Let me also State they did this doing the holiday week. They went above and beyond to make sure my mom had a beautiful home going. I cannot thank them enough. I would recommend their services to anyone that is looking for a funeral home that would treat you like family while being professional. Again I never thought I would be burying my mom this soon but I'm glad I had Southwest Memorial to help me put her to rest.

Susan Alvarez and her team treated my family with the utmost respect. They had every detail taken care of, from creating the prayer cards to collaborating with the Funeral in Florida. My moms casket flew from Orlando to Chicago without a glitch. We sent them family photos, and they created the sweetest video and aired it on a large monitor in the viewing room. They stored it on a USB that came in the most beautiful case( see photo). They made arrangements with the deacon to perform the service. Everything you need, they can take care of it. Alvarez handled my dads arrangements in 2022 and now my moms. Great job on both.

I arrived at Animal Cremation Society Of Chicago overwhelmed with grief and in tears, but I left with a sense of peace I didnt think possible. Bob Shaw was truly an angel to me and my beloved Toy Yorkie, Simba. He treated Simba with the utmost dignity and handled our situation with incredible empathy. Losing a pet is a specialized kind of pain, and Mr. Shaws kindness truly eased my burden. His prices are extremely reasonable for the high level of service and care provided. I will be forever grateful, and Mr. Shaw will always be in my prayers. Thank you for everything.

When I called, the customer service was great! All details explained quickly, clearly, & thoroughly& the FIRST time for the services my family requested. And the services were completed in under two weeks. Thats means a whole lot to my family and I, considering our financial situations. It was not very expensive either. IF needed, we will be using caring cremations again. During our time using their services, communication was also very easy. They also reach out quickly to let you know of any updates for any reason. Its been more than a decade since the last time Ive dealt with death this closely, they made it much more doable this time around.

My husband was the first in our family to be cremated because of the high cost of burial and fortunately the hospice nurse suggested Cremation Enterprises because they had used it for her family. They took care of everything even up to delivering him home personally instead of arriving in the mail, and giving me a gold heart necklace with a small part of his ashes sealed on the inside. The lady that delivered him was very kind and carring and even gave me a big hug on leaving. We were married almost 40 yesrs.

The care and respect for my mom upon her death was visible despite our grief. All the questions we had, even if strange or quirky were answered with kindness and understanding. The constant communication throughout the process was incredible.

Before my mother passed. I was connected with 4 different funeral homes, because I wanted to make sure that the services for my mom would be carried out as detailed as possible to follow our cultural heritage, which I believe was also my mothers preference.
