I had the unfortunate circumstance of my mother and father passing within a month of each other. In both cases we used the services of Smith Corcoran and they were wonderful. Dana helped with a beautiful open casket funeral for my mother. The facilities are elegant and it really is just the perfect venue. Karen helped to provide the cremation services for my father and the process went so smoothly and efficiently we never even had to communicate beyond the initial meeting. In all cases, I've found the employees at Corcoran to be knowledgeable, helpful and sincerely great people to work with. Thank you for all that you've done for my family.

The audio on the stream was hard to listen to due to the echo. Other than that it was nice to be able to watch from long distance.m

I cannot recommend Smith-Corcoran highly enough. I had a distant cousin pass away with no nearer relative and only thirty days to collect her body from the Cook County Medical Examiner, but I live 200 miles away in another state. Eric and the staff here took care of collecting my relative's remains, kept in constant and easy communication about all issues, walking me through the bureaucratic issues, and even came in early when I made the trip to Chicago to pick up her ashes on my way to a morning probate court appointment. I only wish the legal process were as smooth and pleasant as Smith-Corcoran made the mortuary arrangements. I would give six stars if I could.
