We met and reviewed our options. We signed for everything required for cremation. They picked up my son and handled everything. I am grateful for this service. They have been very kind and helpful in this very difficult situation. I had no problem picking up my sons ashes. Thank you for your services.
I found this service to be trustworthy, professional and compassionate. I do not usually post reviews, but I was calling in and noticed the one low review. I want to share that my experience was really wonderful. Even though this is a low cost direct cremation, I found the customer service to be amazingly prompt and helpful at every stage.

Karina and the rest of the crew were 100% helpful every step of the way. They were very informative and always follow up with me throughout the process. I recommend Tulip 100%. Thank you
I found my self in need of someone to take care of my brother. I am in SC and he was in San Francisco. I found Tulip online and they met my needs. Even before I finished the online process a Tulip called and helped me complete the paper work. The whole process was quick, easy, and reasonably priced.
Tulip Cremation Services has outstanding customer service in all aspects of their online offerings and support when needed during the full process of making pre-arrangements and using the services when the person passes. I was especially impressed with the follow-up phone calls I received from Shana of the Tulip Care Team. Shana is filled with empathy and sincerely cared about me from the days my person passed and stayed in touch by phone (not just emails) each step of the process. In our case, the doctor was delayed in signing the death certificate which meant the Cremation was unable to be carried out for about two weeks. Shana followed up several times with the doctor's office and the skilled nursing facility where the death occurred and kept me informed each time until the doctor completed the paper work and the cremation took place. Tulip Cremation Services offers many options so you can tailor your choices to your budget. I paid approximately half of what a funeral home/mo

Thompsons Bayview Mortuary Oakland, had been awesome throughout this whole process. Thank you to the Director Evan and also Ms. Pam. I definitely will recommend this mortuary. Much love from my family and I.
I was a little nervous about choosing this mortuary based off reviews. But Thompson Bay View Mortuary went beyond our expectations. We went from viewing one loved one to having my husband service in a matter of weeks. Mr.Thompson and Pastor Evens was extremely polite and professional at all times. Mr.Thompson sat with me while I came to set with the makeup artist. Never once rushed us. Every aspect from beginning to end was explained to us and all questions were answered in timely fashion. And I may add my husband looked amazing even before makeup was applied, they grooming was on point. Im extremely pleased with the serve and I would recommend them.
My experience with Thompson Funeral Home in Sept 1991was going above and beyond the call of duty 100% of excellent services from the first call to laying him to rest, was nothing short of perfection! My brother was tragically murdered! When Mr. Thompson completed his mutilated remains ( head/face) he looked like he was sleeping. He created a miracle on my brother.

Duggan's exceeded my expectations, Megan was very diligent, professional and knowledgeable and assisted me in the entire process! I Thank you again Megan and the staff at Duggan's Funeral Home.
Thank you for the very helpful information. You were so kind in the process too
My experience with Duggan's is based completely on my many interactions with one of their Arrangement Counselors, Kay Winslow. She was unfailingly courteous, kind, competent, prompt and a true advocate for us. I was orchestrating arrangements for a lifelong friend in SFO who died in her sleep and wanted to be buried back home in New York State. I live in North Carolina! This required tons of coordination between me, Kay and a funeral home in New York! She also marshaled her team to help get a likely cause of death out of Kaiser (who took a week). The whole time she kindly kept me informed and relaxed my concerns. Duggan's is very fortunate to have her!

From our very first conversation, everyone we spoke with was kind, gentle, and deeply compassionate. They took care of every detail of the cremation with professionalism and respect, making sure we never felt rushed or alone in the process. The Columbarium itself is a peaceful and beautiful place.
Crystal and Gretchen and their front-office staffers were all so kind and helpful during a difficult time. They explained everything clearly, always tried to recommend cost-efficient options (never tried to upsell), and were highly responsive to emails, with a soothing and respectful manner on the phone too.

Green Street Mortuary was a true blessing during one of the most difficult times for our family. From the very beginning, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Elaine, in particular, went above and beyond for us while we were arranging my mother-in-laws memorial. Her kindness, patience, and attention to detail made an overwhelming process feel manageable and supported. She listened to our wishes, guided us through every step, and made sure the memorial truly honored my mother-in-laws life in a beautiful and meaningful way. Its rare to find people who combine professionalism with such sincere empathy, and Elaine did exactly that. We will always be grateful for the respect and care she showed our family. I highly recommend Green Street Mortuary to anyone needing compassionate, thoughtful support during a difficult time.
Overall, Green St. staff, Jefferson Lee, funeral director, and Lena Wong, counselor is experienced and compassionate during this time of loss. They communicated clearly providing options/menu of services quickly. They understand the Chinese funeral customs and traditions and historical references. They will definitely provide you information, and ultimately you make your decision. They are with you every step of the way during the service, and try to accommodate your wants and needs during the planning process which they are responsive via email, phone, or text...that makes your decision making process easier.
