When my son was murdered in prison mulecreek 2018 I called over 20 funeral homes to pick my son up they all wanted 2500 to 5000 to transport him back to longbeach affordable burial did it no questions ask didn't ask me for money down they were kind caring to me dolores and her team took care of my baby boy they had great price for cremation and memori l dolores and her staff donated the casket dallas cowboys was his memorial they did the flowers and centerpieces for tables for free they made sure we was ok comfortable this mortuary does not care about the money they care about ur loved ones who passed they did a special presentation for my son they went above and beyond there means to help me thru the worst day of my life and this is God's honest truth I've never seen no mortuary like this in my 57 years alive I give them 100 stars and god bless there services always thank u again for what you did and I truly appreciate your mortuary always god bless

My mom looked so beautiful, they did an amazing job with her makeup and hair. My mom looked just like herself, she looked like sleeping beauty. I was pleased with her appearance, because she looked like herself when she was at home sleeping. Thanks Lance

It has taken me 6 months to leave this review because I feel it is the most important and sincerest review I will ever leave. When you lose someone so special, like my Mother, you are left making final decisions that maybe you havent prepared yourself for. I hadnt realized that when I would lay my head down the night of her passing that the thought of where she was at that moment would come over me. The most comforting and peaceful feeling came when I knew she was in the care room at McKenzies with Bridget and her team looking after her. I cannot fully express how wonderful she and everyone was, even down to the driver who picked my Mom up. The genuine care and empathy, the promptness in taking care of everything, and the continuous communication still 6 months later are all priceless to me. Thank you endlessly Bridget and McKenzie staff, you are all amazing!

LBCM did services for my mother and my husband and a few of my friends they did an awesome job they are highly recommended. Eric... My family and I were there for my grandmas funeral service and then unfortunately we were back 3 months later for my fathers. We knew the first person to call was Drew as he has helped us before. Our family was referred to Destiny Funeral Home & Crematory by a close friend, whose Uncle had services with them. From the moment we were in contact with Destiny, we received warmth, comfort, and care that is necessary when you are about to lose a loved one or have lost a loved one. We came several days before my Mom passed, and Steven (general manager) was responsive and informing in those moments and reassured us, that whenever my Mom transitioned they would be there for us. Our Mom passed on Christmas Eve and Destiny was there, even through the holidays, providing the upmost care. The young gentleman that picked her up Christmas Day, were polite, gracious, and respectful to us and our Mom. We just had her services on January 10th, and Kevin and Mike were there to officiate the services-- both were professional, attuned, and followed our desired plans, also offering suggestions to make things flow smoothly. Losing my dad wasnt easy and I didnt know what to do or where to take him& I couldnt be happier knowing that they took him to the best place which is Luyben Dilday. This place is incredible caring. Daniel and Art were most helpful to me. When I lost my husband of 58 years they listened and helped me through the agonizing process of preparing for the loss and how to handle and make decisions on what to do next. There is so much paperwork and decisions that have to be made and at the time of a loss you can't seem to navigate in a normal fashion. Thanks, Dan and Art

My review of this cemetery is very much warranted. A month ago, my sister and I arrived to make the final arrangements for her recently deceased husband. We met with Judy who made several recommendations for the scheduled funeral that was set for February 20, 2026. When we arrived for the funeral, we were met by the mortuary staff who was so comforting and helpful. The person who made the biggest impact on this day was Priscilla! She was the ultimate professional and my sister and I talked about her continuously for days afterwards. Priscilla definitely has a bright future in whatever profession she chooses. The entire funeral service was beautiful and we received many complements from our family members. Monsignor James Halley was the priest who officiated the Catholic mass and he was wonderful and amazing. The flower arrangement that encircled the urn and recommended by Judy was simply beautiful. Overall, the entire funeral experience was very well worth the money we spent.

Captain Tony and Jim navigated our burial at sea for my brother today. Everything went great. Captain Tony made helpful Suggestions where needed. He was also helpful, kind and graceful. They had coffee and refreshments on board for us which was unexpected and even a sound speaker to connect to my iPhone through Bluetooth to play a memorial playlist tribute throughout the trip for my brother. He even took a video and forwarded it to me from up above when we gave my brother his final cannonball into the sea. Thanks again for a beautiful memorial.

Captain Tony and Fred were amazing host and made our family feel as home for our event. The boat ride and company was truly peaceful. Great way to lay out family to rest.

I would like to start off by saying thank you to the polk family, for everything they did. My wife had been searching every were for a Economic funeral and one that she felt was the right fit for us. She did find one bt she didnt felt like it wad the right one. My wife called this funeral home and spoke to Jonathan and he just made her feel like everything would be just find. We went to have a meeting with jonathan and we felt as if we were family. Everything went great from planning everything to the day. Idalia was the one there for our service to help us with everything, she was like a family member. Idalia made sure everything rained smooth and even gave words of courage to my wife when she was in tears. They also gifted us with a beautiful blanket with our loved ones photographs.
