I would like to thank Irene Reade with all my heart. She is the nicest, wonderful, kindness, sweetest, great hearted, humble person that Ive met in my life. My first conversation with Irene was at 5am. My mom had just passed. Hospice urged me to find a funeral home. I was lost and i didnt know what to do. Irene took the time to explain to me everything I needed to do and know for that moment. I met with Irene a couple of days later to arrange everything for my mom. I still did not know the process of everything that was going on. Irene explained to me very patently what I needed to know. She is a very good hearted person. I felt like I knew her a long time. Thats how a good person she is. Thank you Irene for being a very kind person and taking the time to work with me for working with all the people that come to you. I will never forget that day. Everyone was compassionate, attentive, and deeply understanding of the emotions a family experiences during such a difficult time. TRUST THEM! If I could give them a higher review I would. I worked with Ryan. My Mom had passed away, he met with me IMMEDIATELY. He made my entire process SO EASY. He made my Family & I feel so comfortable. He expedited things for me, without me asking. He was VERY PATIENT with me, never made me feel RUSHED about ANYTHING. Never pushed anything on me. 6 weeks after loosing my Mom, I suddenly lost my little Brother. And was back to reaching out to Ryan, he was so sincere & heart felt. And again, without asking he expedited things for me (again without me asking), he goes WELL BEYOND what he needs to, just to make sure you're comfortable and does all that he can. This place is AMAZING. I contacted them back in December when my close friend passed and I loved how they treated her, dressed her, she looked like herself exactly what we wanted. She was beautiful and I couldnt thank them enough. Another one of my family members passed end of may so I called them again and I explained she had 2 sons I lived out of state and when we picked her up Bailey had her split in 2 boxes even, 2 death certificates, with 2 authorized paper so he can travel back with her ashes. It touched my soul so much she didnt have to do that I cried. Both times I dealt with them they had compassion, not pushy/rush you they listen and understand you. Thank you guys so much for making our grief lighter for us you dont know how much this means to us&.

Dealing with death is never a pleasant thing to do. Especially if your the one handling the business for your loved one. My dad wanted to be cremated so we came here. Brian made the whole process as painless and pleasant as possible. Very professional and explained the whole process of what is happening and what will happen as we went along. We recently lost my Grandmother, and Sterling & Smith went above and beyond helping us navigate through such a sad and difficult time. Mario was very kind and compassionate, helping us with all of the details needed to complete my Grandmother's wishes. We lost my Grandfather 9 years ago, and my Grandmother held onto his ashes all that time. She had a special wish to have his ashes buried along with her, inside her casket. Mario was very kind and gentle, helping us do this. Our experience with Sterling was very positive, and I would recommend them to anyone for their services.

This family-owned establishment proved themselves worthy of a 5-star rating. Mr. Smith...or Steve, as he suggested, is the epitome of compassion and professionalism. His competent staff were able to answer all my questons, leaving no stone unturned and making the whole experience, from the initial consultation to the graveside service, a seamless process. They truly helped alleviate the stress I felt in the beginning .I am ever-so grateful for the beautiful way in which my beloved was laid to rest. Thank You Steve and staff.

When they came to collect my mother from her home, they were professional, soft spoken and caring. They did it with respect and did a beautiful preparation for the removal. Her hair was combed. They placed a velvet blanket on her, all edges tucked. She was comfortable. She looked like she was in a peaceful sleep. As we walked backed in our home, they left her bed made with a rose in her pillow. So beautiful. So well done. Amazing. I was at peace knowing that they will take care of her. From beginning to end, Kristie and her staff were so compassionate during our difficult time. Kristie went above and beyond and handled all the details even when we were having a hard time grieving. Ray who drove the hearse carrying my dad as he was entering the cemetery, seen me walking towards the burial spot and asked me if I wanted to take the ride to the burial spot, and Ray gave me such a special gift, to ride with my dad one final time. Neptune society handled my father's arrangements. They were great, everything was done in a timely fashion. The only problem was their facility has a weird smell to it. I thought maybe it was a one time thing. But the second time I came in the smell was very offensive. They should really look into it, not trying to be rude but it quite possibly was an employees breath

Even with the rocky start Mr. William Jones got the job done. 10/10 would die here again.

Stephens and Bean Funeral Home provided excellent service for our Dad's viewing and Memorial Service. They went above and beyond and made us feel that we were part of their family.

I highly recomend Stephen and Bean. We recently put our mom to rest and mom had a plan that everything was chosen by her and all taken care of. From day one to the celebration of life. Our family had a wonderful and caring experience with this facility. Shout out to Kaitlyn who was our go to person. God is so good and I praise him for putting the right people in our life especially times like these.
