Sarah and Nicky took very good care of my father until I could arrive in Washington. We were able to get everything started over the phone. My father had passed alone in his apartment. The funeral home had the foresight to look around and find his important papers and wallet which made my life much easier with the death certificate and all the other million things needed to do when a loved one passes. They are very honest, as well. They found money on him which they applied to the cremation services. The price was very good. They bundle a cremation package which includes the death certificate, his transportation, their services etc. Also, they worked hard to get my dad's death certificate for me before I left Washington, which I did not expect. I was only in town 3 1/2 days to clean out his apartment and had it in hand before boarding my plane. Most importantly, they comforted me during this difficult time. They always took my calls and I sometimes spoke to them 3-4 times a day. They

The Cremation Society of Washington was so easy to deal with during a difficult time. They made the whole process easy, the price was fair, and most importantly I liked the fact that they did everything in house. They were easy to contact after my dad passed and we're there within 2 hours.

They came quickly and were professional.

Our Belgian Malinois passed recently and we utilized their services for cremation. They took nose and paw prints for us. I would have liked the fur clipping but we had mentioned originally that we had taken some fur so I believe there may have been confusion on if we wanted more. However, we received his ashes within about two weeks. I like the box it was placed into and the engraving. It's nice to have our boy back home.

We took our beloved pomeranian here to be cremated after her death. I am very happy with the care they provided. They collected noise prints and paw prints, and were timely, professional, and compassionate. They also offer additional services including clay paws and various urn options. A few days ago, we viewed our very beloved Bronx and kissed him farewell as he went over the rainbow bridge & into the Spirit world. Later that day, we picked him up and brought his urn to rest at peacefully at home with us. The pet manager Evelyn and staff at Tacoma Mausoleum & Mortuary were very informative, kind and made the entire process stress free. We can't thank them enough for what they did for us and do for the general public. I would recommend them to anyone who is seeking or is unsure of what to do for their beloved animal for end of life services. Being able to view the process in it's entirety and pick Bronx up the same day in a beautiful urn is just what I wanted. Thank you Tacoma Mausoleum & Mortuary! We love you Bronx!!

We lost my Mother in Law one week ago and I knew I wanted her to come to Scott Funeral Home. I previously met Miss Coretta when she was servicing another funeral for a church member and I really liked her personality and demeanor. When the time came for us to now have to utilize their services, she did not disappoint. This process was very hard and frustrating overall but not on the part of the funeral home. Miss Coretta and her Staff made us feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to help us get things settled. I appreciate them and am so happy what I felt when I met them a few years ago, was right on point. I will tell everyone about them. Thank you for everything.

They did a wonderful job. The director help me up throughout this process and I was able to make the hard decisions in which my parents couldnt when I had to bury my baby brother.

We have dealt with American Memorial on 4 occasions and we highly recommend them to those people we know. They have been GREAT to deal with. They treat both the deceased and family members with caring and respect.

My family recently had an experience with Weeks-Dryer Mortuary and we are beyond happy with the level of care that we received. The staff went above and beyond for us in multiple ways. We had our experience with Sarah, Danielle, and Kurt and each of them exhibited the utmost empathy and support to my family. There are people that are called to careers like this because they have a kind and compassionate soul and I would use that to describe every member of the staff there. They treated my nephew with such care and truly made everything beautiful for my family while we said our goodbyes. The time and attention to detail they provided far exceeded any of our expectations and I highly recommend them to anybody looking for somewhere that will help honor your loved one while your family says their goodbyes. Their kindness really helped us while we were grieving and I am so thankful to God that we were brought to them for this journey.

I had both of my parents pass within 3 weeks of each other, and they weren't even really ill, albeit 90 and 99 years of age, up until about 1 month before that. So we had our hands full. Anh and their whole team was so caring, sensitive and thorough. Helping us submit a double memorial, offering a reasonable double charge (without us even asking) and really walking us through the whole process as they responded to our many many questions. They were respectful, calm and oh so helpful. Thank you!

Gaffney Funeral Home helped us when we lost our mother 7 years ago, so we returned when our father died in 2026. They were professional, compassionate and helped solve some logistic issues at the time of the funeral. Our family is so grateful for how they showed respect for the cremated remains of our parents, as if the full bodies were there in a casket. As a Catholic family it was important to use a Catholic Funeral Home, so that they understood the Catholic rituals around funerals. We would highly recommend Gaffney Funeral Home.

They responded immediately and assured me they would take care of everything. In our visit the following day, all arrangements were explained and selected. The graveside service was set up perfectly.

December 2025 was the third time in 15 years we have used Gaffneys for a death in the family. Tim and Grace are kind, respectful, and compassionate, without coming across as saccharine or disingenuous. Gaffneys manages to maintain consistency and a high level of quality in their provision of services to grieving individuals and families. Each time we have requested their help, Gaffneys has been direct and completely transparent about the costs of their funeral arrangements and services, which range from the simple to the elaborate. To their credit, Gaffneys associates do not attempt to steer clients to more expensive options. We are grateful to have chosen Gaffneys from the beginning, as in our experience, they are experts who can be relied upon during an incredibly sensitive and stressful time at the end of a loved ones life.

Oakwood is the best place that I have ever been. The staff is so wonderful and caring. Went we meet them they did everything for a grieving family. I have used them twice. They have made several calls to us to make sure that if we had any questions. They also have a grieving programs. If you are in need of Oakwood please give them a call.

The staff at the funeral home were very respectful of my circumstances. Throughout the whole process, I felt supported. I would recommend Oakwood Hill.

I dont know how I would have gotten through some of the toughest days without the amazing staff here. I was lost and they helped point me in the right direction to get things taken care of. Thank you!

They took care of my furbaby Sadie for me and did a fantastic job. Both ladies that helped me on site were terrific. I was never rushed or talked into spending more. I felt that they took great care of my beloved furbaby. I paid for individual cremation and was surprised at how quickly she was ready for pick up. Unfortunately dogs don't live longer and I still have 2 doggies with one being a senior. When the time comes again I will definitely use their service again. The pricing is very reasonable, much better than others. Overall I felt valued at such an emotional time. The staff is exceptional.
