We thank Amy very much for her wonderful service, caring attitude, and follow up. The recent unexpected death of my brother hit us very hard, and Amy was awesome to work with. My family has worked with Shaw and Sons from our grandparents to parents, etc., and they have always proved to be our choice.
We had the most amazing experience with Shaw & Sons Funeral Home. I had never had to plan a cremation but both Donna and Rhea were so wonderful, patient and easy to work with. They were so accommodating and basically held my hand through the whole process.
Couldn't have gone any better! We worked with Rhea from the beginning. She was compassionate and professional. As the family became aware of our Fathers passing there were many requests for changes, She handle everything without a hitch, kept us up to date on what we needed to provide and scheduling. Every detail, was covered which of course many we had not thought of. We had the service in at Shaw and Son', because of long distance travel time for many of the family members, we did not have a grave side service. We provided a video of the my Father's life and they played it on a high quality screen with the music we had chosen, it was beautiful. They have a room which we choose to use for a get together after the service. The price was reasonable and convenient. We provided our own food and drinks, Gloria was assigned take care of us. She had everything ready for us when we entered the room, and clean up afterwards. Overall this was a great experience at a tough time.

I had to experience one of the hardest things in my life, my mothers passing. One things for sure, we think we are prepared for death and what comes with it, but the bottom line is we are not and with the guidance, tenderness and care that Vicky and Yair gave my family during our most difficult time was a blessing. I will forever be grateful to the compassion and the professionalism that they provided.
Had a very great experience with Victoria & Yair Intern Funeral Directors, at the Yakima funeral home. When my sister in law passed before Christmas, my husband and I were totally devastated, and did not know what all needed to be done to take care of all the funeral needs. We did know that it could be very expensive, and we did not have alot of funds, and others in the family were out of state and on a budget as well. Victoria & Yair were so gracious and did not pressure us into buying this and that, or like others trying to add more expense. They helped us every step of the way and kept the expenses down. They listened to our needs, and made suggestions that would compensate with us and our sisters wishes. My husband and I highly recommend Valley Hills Funeral Home for your needs and those who will be laid to rest.
My mother just passed away and Yair and Victoria were absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end. They showed compassion and gave my mom the dignity she deserved. They answered all my questions that I had, went beyond and above when my family wanted to see my mom and made her look beautiful. They made this very difficult time a lot more easier to get thru. Thank you both for doing the best job for my family in this very hard and grieving time . Julie T

I really appreciate the work and help of Jen R and Dan W. Im so thankful that they were able to help us with our Moms passing. They truly cared and it seems this work is a calling for them not a job.
Our funeral director Sophie Robinson, was extremely helpful in assisting our family with the service arrangements. She was very compassionate and took a lot of pressure off us. Her suggestions were spot on and everything went smoothly. Although she could not attend the actual service, Bob did an exceptional job filling in for her. We thank you all for being there for us in this difficult time for our family. The Thomson Family
