My family has had the opportunity to deal with Harding Funeral Home and I would like to compare our experience with what I have witnessed at other funeral homes in the area. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional but also make you feel cared for. Everything from start to finish is handled with excellence. Information on each funeral is communicated well to all involved including the minister who may be conducting the service. They are very helpful and make every effort to make those who have lost a loved one feel comfortable with no pressure of any kind. I have attended funerals at other funeral homes lately that seemed to have no personal touch to make those who lost loved ones feel comfortable. I highly recommend Harding Funeral Home in Poca WV to anyone who may be looking for a place to help them through the death of a loved one. In my familys opinion Chad Harding snd the rest of staff are the best.
Chad and his family was more than amazing when my mother suddenly passed. Chad really guided me through so much when I had not a clue where to start. The services were more than amazing. And even after the services he still has checked in with me and been so amazing. Words cant explain how wonderful
I was dumbfounded when I read the review left by Finsta Booknerd. Vindictive nasty reviews like that tend to leave phony names dont they? My family has used Gatens and then Gatens-Harding for at least four generations. We have ALWAYS been treated so wonderfully that I think how in the world do they have all that time to devote to us. My Mom, Dad, Aunt and Uncle died within a very short time of each other. Mr Harding, Chad, treated me like family. Constantly asking what he could do for me. My Dad and Uncles death occurred right at the beginning of COVID. A friend of ours was taken to another Funeral Home. His Funeral Home allowed no one in for visitation, and there was no service. Chad set up an Outdoor Service for my Dad that was the most appropriate, spiritual service that I have ever attended. Mr Harding was being very innovative. At the time I think it may have been one of the first outdoor services. It could not have been better. I feel eternal gratitude for Chad
