They handled everything with such compassion, professionalism, and respect. They walked us through every step of the process, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood everything without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. During a time filled with emotion and uncertainty, they brought peace and clarity. We are incredibly grateful for the care they gave us and would highly recommend them to anyone going through a loss.
Our 10 year old daughter passed away in February, very unexpected. It's the hardest thing I've ever gone through. Vaughan Kimes made the process so much easier, and didn't try to upsell me, even though I wanted all the extras. They went all out for our little girl, and did everything to make sure our girl was taken care of. They didn't forget about us after the funeral, either. I've gotten messages on some very hard days. They also offered us a glass dove for Christmas with her name on it. They were great to work with. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for all you guys have done.
Vaughn-Kimes was very kind and helpful to our family with making arrangements for our mother. They went through everything step by step with us and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one.

So very kind! They were there if we had questions but not intrusive. I'm so happy my dad made his plans there as well. They couldn't have been more accommodating.
April went above and beyond to help us with our loved ones. She kept us informed on everything we needed to know and do. She has been there for us twice this year and I recommend sunset for your loved ones or preplanning.
Pre-planning is the best gift you can give your children. This facility met every need and has extra support and special touches that make a hard time manageable. Free grief support services are also available here. They took great care of our loved one.

From preplanning with John Phares to the funeral service for my mother, Lambert-Tatman provided exceptional care and support. John was extremely helpful during the planning process, and Julie was so kind and reassuring, easing all my concerns every step of the way. Their compassion and professionalism made a difficult time much easier for our family. We couldnt be more grateful for their outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Steve Tatman and his team of people are the absolute best to work with. From their comforting words every time I spoke with them to planning the celebration of life.

Im sorry. I don't have a personal google account. But my name is James Maze and my mother was Laura Groves. Everyone at this facility has been absolutely amazing. They took a hard time for me and made it alot easier. They knew our budget constraints and didnt try to upsell or add. They did what they needed and even though we couldnt afford alot they took such good care of her. They let us see her again and she had makeup on and her hair combed. Most businesses you get what you pay for but here they seem to genuinely care about each and every one that comes through that door. I cant express my gratitude. Thank you so much.
Very supportive and understanding.
Greatest staff so caring and respectful to the family and the deceased special thanks to Julie who is there for me and I sure appreciate it. Thank you. Love you, Donna.

All of the staff were professional and compassionate. Other funeral homes are run like businesses; Leavitts is run with more care and kindness. I highly recommend without reservation.

Leavitt Pet Crematory was amazing in our time of need & mourning. About 2 weeks ago, my sweet cat tragically passed away in our home while we were on vacation across the country. It was a one in a million freak accident and totally unexpected. Add in the fact that we were over 2,000 miles away and we got the news of her passing while on vacation, this was devastating to say the least and I was understandably a mess. I spoke with Sarah on the phone and we arranged for my sister-in-law to bring in my cat. Sarah called me once my cat was brought in so I could take care payment and she continued to keep in touch with me throughout the process. She was extremely compassionate & empathetic from the time I made the first call asking about services, all the way to the day I picked up my cats remains. My cat was brought in on Saturday night, 6/14, and I got the call that she was ready to come back home on Tuesday 6/24. When I picked her up, they gave me a bag that had the urn with her rema
I absolutely have nothing but wonderful things to say about Leavitt&.they were there for my family both times we needed them with the loss of our fur babies. Kind caring and understanding with such respect in handling our family.
I have taken several cats and 1 dog to date here, and have always been treated with kindness and compassion. For newcomers to pet cremation, if you do not purchase an urn, you can do so at any time, as well as jewelry, etc. Said ashes are placed in a small plastic bag before sealing in a small box, nothing fancy. Cremation certificate is also provided as well as sympathy card. Most cremations are complete within several days, pricing is reasonable and available on their website.

The staff was wonderful with my family during this difficult time. They gave us "gentle" truths and insured we had privacy during the decision making process.
At a time of great loss. The people at Mid-Ohio Cremation Society in Parkersburg were a great help to me. My mother had always been clear in not wanting any kind of memorial services and wanting to be cremated. This company made it affordable and were very understanding. They offer a nice program to help with costs by becoming a member ahead of time. I intend to do the same for myself. At a time when you are dealing with such loss and all the hospital bills and the arrangements for everything, they are a great help.
I cannot express how happy we are with the process they provided. From the preparation to the very end of picking up my mom, they were caring and compassionate. I would recommend them over and over&.
