I lost my son & was beside myself with grief. The owner Jim Shires & his caring staff allowed me & my family personal time with my son Jason as well as extra days before his burial. I could never thank them enough for their kindness.

I can not say enough good things about Jim, or all of the wonderful people that make that funeral home great. They make a hard time, just a little easier.

On behalf of our family, I would like to thank Cravens-Shires for going above and beyond to help provide our family with compassion and support during a difficult time being my father resided 8.5 hrs from his final resting place. Beautiful cemetery in Bluefield, which is on the border next to Virginia. It's quite hilly so you'll get a good workout or your car will. This is a cemetery with some character - more than 60 acres that are heavily wooded. The interments date back to the early 1900's.

I, and my family, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Leticia Hunnicutt for helping us from out of state to arrange/order a memorial plaque for our dear sister. She was very patient and very responsive to our needs when ordering. Leticia notified us and sent a picture of the plaque when it arrived. It exceeded our expectations. Thank you Leticia Hunnicutt and Restlawn for your amazing work!

Great service respectful staff

I have been going to the mausoleum since my so past in 2019 the person who post a review about a month ago about the grass not being cut we had a dry spell for a month you do not cut brown grass it was about a month before I cut mine do you all know there is just about 3 or 4 people who work there they have a lot to do I was there today they were replacing the glass that was broke in a side door an cleaning Windows do you all know how many people are laid to rest there you talk about spell wear a mask bodies do decay over time I am so sorry for people who have nothing to do but to talk I go every two weeks I just about know who replaces an put flowers yes there are problems with roof leaking but they will fix it when they can the men are doing the best that they can do you people know how many people have been laid to rest there here lately I know there has been quite a few cause when I go there they are having funerals an have to wait or come back so to visit
