**EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE THEIR BUSINESS TO BROWN FUNERAL HOME, INC (MARTINSBURG WV)** February 12, 2026 First of all, I want to thank Brown Funeral Home and staff (Martinsburg, WV) for their genuine care, strength, and emotional support they provided me when my mother, Ms. Delia Hall, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tues February 3, 2026. From the onset, Brown Funeral Home worked with me to provide the best possible funeral arrangements for my beloved mother. They honored ALL my wishes every step of the way and showed the utmost respect for my mom while she was onsite at their Martinsburg location all the way through when they delivered her rose-draped coffin to Pleasant View Memory Gardens. Not to mention, Brown Funeral Home made things **extremely affordable** and didn't try to upsell or price gouge me (thank you)! Trust me when I say, that's the last thing you need when you're dealing with an emotionally draining, painful, and heartbreaking event like the passing of a loved

My family and I reached out to Hammaker memorials in mid March to purchase a headstone for my grandfather. Steve was very polite, respectful, and open to my grandmothers ideas and design of the headstone. Steve was flexible and able to work with us to meet our budget. We had a special request to have the headstone set by Father's Day and Steve was able to keep true to his promises. I highly recommend.
2/2/23 - updating my review. My dad's headstone was put in and it is beautiful, Steve did a wonderful job. Dealing with the death of a loved one is difficult and sometimes causes people to overreact.
I have read some of the Negative Reviews about the Time Frame involved & lack of response from Steve. Most of you dont know that hes been extremely Ill for the past 6 months.. & was dealing with this medical condition the year B4. Hes been struggling to keep going but its been extremely hard. Since his last Surgery a couple months ago- he is finally doing better. Hes working & trying to get caught up. I am waiting too- but this was/is not a situation of neglect- It was unavoidable. Add to all that - he.. like every other small business owner is struggling to get employees! Hang in there. I know how you feel & I understand that getting the stone is a part of the Closure for Your/Our Lost Love Ones. Steves a Good Guy & will get everyone taken care of.
