Im so grateful for the compassionate and professional care provided by Smith Funeral home during one of the most difficult times in my life. When my husband passed away, the staff responded immediately and with such kindness and sensitivity. They handled the pickup with the utmost respect and dignity, making sure everything was done gently and thoughtfully. The entire cremation process was explained clearly, handled efficiently, and exactly as we had discussedno surprises, no pressure, just quiet support. I cant thank you enough for your kindness, respect, and support. I would recommend your services wholeheartedly to anyone dealing with the death of a loved one. With deepest appreciation, Chris
This business deserves more than 5 stars. Rest assured, this Funeral and Cremation home is very kind, supportive and gentle with their mannerisms. They are on top of their game with knowledge, procedure and more. They helped me with, who they contact upon death and what is required. They respond immediately day or night and I was often corresponding with them. They never sounded annoyed or irritated, I always felt and was treated as if I was their only customer at the moment. I highly recommend this Smith Funeral & Cremation Care above all else. Even the community of Morgantown, WV speaks highly of Jason, Cathy and the supportive staff. Their pricing was very workable and the services from beginning to end were worth much more than they charged. I post this with the upmost sincerity. -Sheri Geltz and family for Sharon Thomas
We came from the West to take care of our lost family member. Smith's was honest, communicative, respectful and the attention to detail was exemplatory. We had no prior relationship or communications so we entered blind. Smith's held our hand the entire way and made sure everything was just right. Thank you all so much.

Thanks to every wonderful employee. They made things so easy even through our total crazy indecision. I highly recommend this business. They are efficient and knowledgeable yet remained compassionate and patient throughout.
Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home, Jared and his staff have always treated our family with such love, compassion and kindness while working through some of the most difficult times in our lives. We have always felt like family when working with them. They have so much to offer and their patience and ability to accommodate most, if not all of our wants and needs, went beyond our expectations. Theyre desire to ensure every detail was attended to and the fact they helped us through every intricate part of the process from selection of casket to assistance with financial arrangements went above and beyond what we were anticipating. It will always be very much appreciated. We are forever thankful for them and recommend them to all those that might be facing this time in their life. The Watts Family

They did a fantastic job on one of the hardest days of my life. I lost my mom, but they made sure to make everything as easy as it could have been for my family. Everything we gave them they setup wonderfully. My mom also looked so peaceful and beautiful. Ryan Ford was also fantastic to work with and always answered our calls and made sure everything was perfect for us. He also was very respectful and supportive to us during what was a very sad day.
Cant say enough great things about the whole Hastings Team. Ryan Ford, Grant Hastings, Anthony McIe and the rest of the team somehow always seem to make horrible situations just a little bit easier, but by doing so seem to lift unmeasurable amounts of weight off of the families shoulders during the loss of a loved one. They did that for our family numerous times already, and we are lucky to of had them and their support. When the unimaginable happens, dont hesitate to reach out to Hastings and their team for help.
The compassion and kindness the Hastings staff has showed my family is beyond compare! They are professional, knowledgeable and are willing to go out of their way in the most difficult times. Thank you Hastings for always being there for my family. Highly recommend.

Recently, I found out that my father is here at the masuleum. I didn't even know he had passed, and it's nice to have found his final resting spot as I loved my Dad very much. I was adopted at a very young age and had lost this side of my family for many years. The grounds are well maintained, a very clean facility. The masuleum, which wasn't hard to find, and finding his spot only took a minute, even though it's situated a bit away from the main facility. I enjoyed all the statues and the different gardens, I know he would've too, as one of my memories is of us going to his church and him telling me stories of the Bible and him giving me my first rosary. My only issue, and it's not with this place at all, but burial sights in general, is that when someone is buried with someone else, their own information may not be visual. Meaning dates may not be written on the stone. I just find it odd that we do that, and that's all cemeteries, not just here. I did enjoy my visit, even though the
