At the recommendation of our veterinary practice, we took our sweet cat here after she suddenly passed away. It only took them a couple of business days to cremate her and have her back to us in a temporary urn, along with a certificate of cremation. They were really great and professional, and diligently helped us in-between our crying spells. It only cost $150 for our cat, and they also cremate on a per-animal basis (no batch cremations). I doubt you can find a more affordable way.

My ~15 year old Mocha passed away, it was suggested I called as they do pet cremation. They answered everything quickly and matter of a fact and made the process straightforward without making it cold and transactional. I know it sounds silly but she was mine and my moms dog, then my mom passed away and having Mocha left with me helped a lot so her passing was very emotional. When my husband and I arrived with her to the funeral home they were very nice and directed me where to take her and a lovely man came out and met us took her very gently, what happened next was the PIVOTAL moment where my grief and sadness in goodbye felt validated and respected when I turned to see a paw print cart that they gently placed her box on and together rolled her into the crematorium. Shes just a dog but she was my best friend for most of my adolescence and all of my adult life this far and they acknowledge the value of her life so blatantly I cant put into words what that means to me and my husba

LOVE THEM!! We drive over an hour to see them, when there are plenty of Vets much much closer. They take the most amazing care of our animals and us. I am wheelchair dependent and they help get my animals inside for me. Never make me feel like a burden and are always the sweetest while doing it. To top it all off they do it with the lowest prices I have found.

Eastlawn was amazing to work with, as we prepared for multiple family burials this year. The attention to detail, and follow through on all aspects of the burial process were superb. We never felt rushed into decisions on grave markers, and everything was thoroughly explained to us at every step. The staff was so respectful and kind and we highly recommend working with them when you are faced with the death of a loved one.

My wife and I wanted to pre plan our final arrangements. Heritage Memorials provided us excellent customer service in helping us design, create and install our memorial marker. It's was actually a fun process. Becky and the entire team did a great job on our memorial and gave us a fair price.

The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA is one of the most compassionate places I have ever known. As a volunteer, I get to witness the love, patience, and devotion the staff shows every animal who walks through their doors. These animals arent just pets to themthey are souls deserving of safety, comfort, dignity, and a chance at a beautiful life. The team works tirelessly day and night to make sure every animal is fed, clean, cared for, and given the medical attention they need. Their kindness is real, and its constant. My family experienced that kindness in a deeply personal way. On the day my son graduated from JMU, he decided he wanted to adopt his very first dog. He went to the RHSPCA and met a sick husky who wasnt adoptable yet and needed a foster home first. Even though the odds were stacked against this poor pup, my son felt an instant connection. They are personable and crafty. I went in with a printed out picture of an anchor the beginning of October for my dad's memorial when he passed and they didn't hesitate that it could be done. It turned out so wonderful and really made his memory live on with his Naval service. Thank you all again for helping me preserve his memories

Beautiful Cemetery located on the Streets of Reservoir, East Market & Ott Street. Main Entrance is on Reservoir Street. Open 24 hours. No Restroom available on premises but Restaurants are nearby. It's One of the Oldest Cemeteries in The City of Harrisonburg. My Family is buried there and 1 day I will Join Them. The Groundskeepers take Good Care of this 18 Acre Cemetery with Over 11,500 Graves. Come Visit it's Beautiful when The Sun gazes through, hits Down through the trees.

Woodbine Cemetery has Over 11,500 Graves as of March 2023 and it's Quite Beautiful, nestled in the Middle of Harrisonburg, VA. It sits on 18 Acres, crossing 3 Streets : Reservoir, East Market and Ott. The Main Entrance is located on Reservoir Street.
