They do a good job all the time
Every services that I have been a part of (on program - 3 with two of them being family members) everything including food was excellent. Even the service the day before funeral for another was professional. Except I must mention the rudeness of one of your ushers. The programs should be passed out. An allotted amount set aside for family, of course. Individuals on program should definitely get one. Also, when the family has selected ushers to be a part of the service it should not be a problem. Programs should not be attempted to be taken from the person who did them, especially when they are a member of the family. One distraction from the procedure of service can affect a review of the great things that were done. Held on to the professionalism of everything else. while not liking that disrespect in that area. Please let family members know you have ushers and they will not think they have to get any or it will help eliminate any confusion about outside participation. Overall AWESO
On behalf of the Carter & Wilson family i would like to thank DL McLaughlin Funeral Home for everything they did for us during the passing of our hero Christopher Wilson. The staff and owners made sure we were taking care of in every way. They always called and checked on us. They made our grief process easier. The staff was very friendly and very helpful to us. The best was they made him look so good in his uniform. The food prepared for us was great also. I will definitely recommend them to anybody. Thank you guys for everything you did and God Bless. Special thanks to Tyrell Payne for everything he did seeing us through the process

We had service at this location . JT was great to work with. made sure that my family was totally satisfied with everything. Went as smooth as expected. Unlike Swicegood call them several time inquiry about fees etc they were snippy kinda rude. My family has use them for over 80+ years but I will never use or recommend them , over price to compare to the other funeral home. Thanks JT and Norris for making this a pleasant service
When my Dad passed, Norris helped our family and I was satisfied with how they handled the process and the compassion they showed. He passed at home in NC and transportation to Danville was no issue.

It has been a month now since my beloved wife passed away. Unfortunately it was not something that we had planned at the moment or were expecting .She had been improving in her agility and health since her implanted Barostim heart device. It appears that she just went to sleep that Saturday after lunch. This left me with the unwanted task of preparing her funeral and deciding where to have it. I stated all this leading to my decision. Wrenn Yeatts North Main Street location has been in the past where most of my family had been handled and buried from. I'm sure there were other options in the city and I have been through some funerals lately and I found that the environment almost felt sterile to me at some of the locations. They were not very close-knit family oriented surroundings but more of an auditorium and spectacle type of service. I wanted something more dear, so I chose Wren Yeatts for that reasoning. I was pleasantly and appropriately please with my decision. The location con
Good people to work with.

Wrenn-Yates handled my mother's funeral arrangements and made it very easy for me. I live in Atlanta and had to plan the funeral from there. Wrenn-Yates thought of everything including things that I did not know how to do. Thank you so much for making one of my saddest moments free from stress and giving my mother the dignity that she deserved.

First time visiting 2/15/25. I was very impressed with the upbeat decor and color choices, it was a welcoming and kind environment for families in their time of sorrow. Courtesy and professionalism is all I witnessed.
Fine, professional staff that have provided proper service. They have assisted my family over the years with our loved ones. Thank you very much.
My husband and I used Fisher & Watkins for the cremation of our stillborn baby girl, Avery. We lost her at 39 weeks of pregnancy. They were so kind, respectful, and compassionate during trips to their office. They went above and beyond in the services they provided to us. We definitely recommend them to anyone in Danville or the surrounding areas!

My wife and I have been looking at buying our plots and we were referred to this place. The staff was extremely helpful and theyve got some beautiful locations.
After a couple of years of doing business with Danville Memorial Gardens with Dove Bowers, I can't express my gratitude enough for her help in several areas of planning my and my family's future needs. Again, today she assisted me with additional needs. Dove has always maintained professionalism and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the business. She is friendly, cordial, and very helpful. I thank God for all the help that she has provided for me and my family.

I have had the privilege of knowing staff member Cody Tatum his entire life. It has been a pleasure watching him develop into a man of high morals and integrity. Anyone coming into contact with Cody will certainly be satisfied with his unsurpassed courtesy and top notch professionalism. I highly recommend Cody Tatum and Swicegood Funeral Home.
Swicegood Funeral Home has taken care of my family it seems like forever. My dad had an awesome service there in 1987, my mom in 2002 and my husband was taken very good care of by them in 2003. If I can afford it, that's who I want to handle my remains. Yes, their facilities are old, but they are very caring and very respectful for your wishes. When my husband passed, I went straight to them and they helped me through every step of the way, even contacting the responsible person for our family Cemetery. They even were okay with having to wait several weeks for the insurance to come in so that I could pay them for everything. They were very accommodating.
My experiences with Swicegood Funeral Home has been positive. The funeral home assisted me when both of my parents went to be with the Lord.

They gave me the time I needed. Showed compassion and understood that I wasn't just saying goodbye to a pet but to my best friend.
Out of the 5 places that offered pet cremations around me, Townes Family Pet Cremations was the only place that answered our call and took in our doggie within a few hours, despite it being the weekend. Michael was very kind to us on such a hard day.
This is not something that I was expecting to write a review on, but here we are. I was told Townes did a wonderful job with pet cremations but I was hoping not to need their services for quite a while still. Then, I unexpectedly lost my baby bird (29 year old) Kiwi. He was a quaker parrot and I was distraught. Laten, Steve, and anyone I spoke with or met at Townes was very sympathetic. They made a hard time, a bit easier. They listened to me blubber over the phone, were patient while I shared my memories, and took very good care of my Kiwi. The sweet little box for his ashes and certificate were a wonderful memorial. I was even able to share Kiwi's obituary link with friends and family. I would highly recommend Townes Family Pet Cremations to anyone who needs such services. They will definitely be there for you in your time of sorrow.
