We recently entrusted Sims Funeral Home with my uncle's services, and they truly exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, Fernando and his entire staff were incredibly professional, compassionate, and easy to work with during such a difficult time. They handled every detail with care, respect, and genuine kindness, which brought our family so much comfort. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed, and their guidance made the process feel manageable and peacetul. I am deeply grateful for the way they honored my uncle's life. I would highly recommend Sims Funeral Home to anyone looking for a team who truly cares and goes above and beyond for the families they serve.

I cannot thank Ms. Linda at F.L. Sims Funeral Home enough for her guidance during such a difficult time. Planning my father's funeral felt overwhelming, but Ms. Lindas incredible attention to detail and 'customer-first' mentality made all the difference. She truly listens and ensures every wish is honored with grace. She took the weight off our shoulders when we needed it most. If you want someone who will treat your family with genuine care and precision, I highly recommend working with her.

F.L. Sims was wonderful .... No one wants to experience the loss of someone they love but everyone at some point in life does lose someone. if you have ever lost someone then you truly understand the importance of having someone by your side. Linda Thrasher was professional , courteous, but most of all heartwarming, comforting, and kind every step of the way.

Having to make tough decisions while grieving the loss of a loved one is very difficult. However, Jim Carmichael and Cesar made the process easy in a calm, reassuring, straight forward manner. They handled all the details and shared resources that made the process before, during and after much more manageable. I would highly recommend using them - especially during a time when youre grieving & its hard to make tough decisions.

Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna made everything easy during our time of loss. Jim was absolutely amazing! He has a gift. He made us feel like we were the only client he had. He spent time with us and we never felt rushed in making any decisions. All of the staff at Carmichael were so respectful and attentive. (I don't remember everyone's names, but Cesar and Matthew were both wonderful. ) The After Care program was so helpful. Kathy was professional, but also kind and caring. She had answers to questions that I didn't know I had. Thank you to all who made this process honoring to my father and comforting to our family.

My sister and I came here for help with our Mother's remains. Being from out of town, we were quite desperate, and had nowhere familiar to turn. We found Carmichael's through the internet. They went out of their way to help us. They are kind, compassionate, and sensitive to one's feelings. Definitely the kind of people one wants for help, when transitioning a loved one. It takes a special kind of person to do our hard jobs in this life. We found those kind of people here at Carmichael's.

Recommended by our vet of 12 years. Beautifully handled service. Even when the website was down for a day or two, I emailed an inquiry about the status of my dog's services, and received a call *after* business hours with a personalized update. I sent that inquiry expecting a call the next day, not 90 minutes later. The staff is very caring and empathetic. My best 4-legged friend was treated with the greatest respect and returned to me in a more beautiful urn that I expected. Thank you again for treating our loved one like they were one of your own.

Our Xena passed away on November 19,2025 suddenly. I contacted Pet Love and they were so kind. I was able to deliver our loved one to them. We received our princess back the next day. Thank you for providing us some closure

Today, we were able to participate in our little Coopers cremation service. From the precious additional moments I was able to spend with him, in his little casket&through cremation&then processing his ashes& into his personalized wooden box urn, he never left my sight or side, not for one second! Now, hes back home with us, where he belongs. Im so grateful to Faithful Companion for providing this personal experience and the ability to oversee the entire process on my terms. The staff were so sweet and respectful.
