My Mama passed earlier this year. During her transition to heaven, the first person I spoke with was Eric. He educated me on the process of them transporting her from the hospital. He put a solid comfort in my heart during this difficult time. We had her funeral, MLK and Mr. Eric put a smile on my heart and mind during the most difficult time in my life. This was our first funeral planning experience, and we had the added component of having to deal with two funeral homes, and transporting a body from another state. Mathews was absolutely wonderful in their attention to detail, level of professionalism, and working with excellence. Hill Mackey was our first contact at Mathews. He was kind and compassionate and walked us through every step. We held the visitation and service at Mathews Chapel, and every single employee was wonderful. Ross, Kacy, Mike, Matt, Gary, Sydney&. Thank you so very much for your help. You work with excellence, and we were beyond pleased with the dignity of the entire funeral process.

Mathews was nothing but professional and helpful in dealing with the loss of my mother. They took care of absolutely everything over the phone and mailed my mother's remains to the family who are currently unable to drive that far. I highly recommend them.

Mickey at Kimbrell Stern was a God send to our family during a most difficult time. They are very professional, and very caring.

I would recommend using Kimbrell-Stern. Jay went above and beyond to make sure that my mother's funeral was exactly the way she wanted it. When her pastor refused to preform the ceremony as she wanted, Jay was able to have one of their pastors step in and everything went as planned. Jay was there from day one and even helped us three months after the funeral. The only thing I will worn you about, if you order flowers off the website DON'T use Petal Pushers. They don't pay attention to the funeral date and my mom had dead flowers at the funeral because they sent them 2 weeks early. Paula the owner is rude and unprofessional and won't return you calls. I recommend using Albany Floral - Lynn is the best.

I do not have any complaints regarding this business. They are professional, prompt, knowledgable, and adapt to your needs and preferences -- even with little time. This was the first funeral I had to "plan" and they made the experience special yet intentionally a breeze. Trust them to get the job done even in the mist of grief. Losing Mama was the hardest day of my life, especially so soon after burying her husband. My heart was heavy and honestly, I was scatterbrained and overly direct in my communication.
