Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home cared for my mother after her passing in December 2025. I want to acknowledge how much I appreciate the service of Mr. Calvin and Ms. Howard, in particular, although everyone we encountered provided exceptional service. We first met Mr. Michael who transported my mother from the hospital to the funeral home. He told us he would treat her like a Queen. He did, with so much grace and dignity. I still have the rose he gave me in my car and I think about how much his words touched my heart. Mr. Calvin was the first person we met the next day at Gus Thornhill's. With his welcoming nature, he made us feel at home and at ease with the decisions we were about to make. He made us laugh, which helped to calm my fears. Ms. Howard was also a godsend. Mr Andrews and RW Andrews Funeral Home did an amazing job with my moms service. From Day 1 Mr Andrews always had an open line of communication with me and there were no hidden charges. Everything we discussed, we received with no problem. The day of my moms service Mr Andrews and staff were very understanding and accepting to any requests that I may have had at the last minute. They are not like well known like many other funeral homes, but their work is great and very satisfying.
