During one of the hardest times of our lives, the compassion, patience, and professionalism shown to our family meant more than we can express. Shane guided us through every step with incredible care, knowledge, and kindness, often answering questions before we even had to ask. His father, Carl, was equally kind and supportive, allowing Shane to take the lead while stepping in when needed. They are both extremely organized and truly excellent at what they do. The funeral home itself was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. We chose to have a viewing the evening before the burial, which was held inside the funeral home. The lighting was beautiful, the space felt peaceful, and we were allowed to sit with my father for as long as we needed. I never once felt rushed. During such an emotional time, decision fatigue is very real, but they made every decision feel manageable and kept us gently on track. The following day, we held a graveside service, and they had everything s
We could not have asked for a better service for my dad. Carl and his family really went above and beyond anything we could have expected . We were unprepared to say the least and had tons of questions. Carl and his family were kind enough to help us throughout the process and took extra time with my mom to ensure she was okay and approved of every step along the way. They can go as simple or as fancy and over the top you want to go , we even had a few special requests for my dads service that they were able to accommodate with ease. Thank you for making such a difficult time a bit easier. -The Smith Family
They were very courteous, friendly, helpful and reasonably priced. They were sympathetic and truly showed that they cared.

Everyone there at Shell house in Aiken were so compassionate and professionally helpful for us to make the right decision to care for our loved one. Everything was done in a time line that fit us perfectly. We were so happy with them and would definitely recommend Shellhouse to all our family, friends, and relatives. Thank you again for making this sad, stressful experience a easier time for us.
Shellhouse did an amazing job for our fathers funeral. They were professional and compassionate and helped with so many of the details for the service and burial during this difficult time for our family. They arranged everything from flower delivery, service in their chapel, helped with burial arrangements, processing and obtaining the necessary paperwork, and so much more. It was nice to at least have this peace of mind while grieving our loss and are so grateful they helped us through it.
