My son died in a different state than we lived in. And Palmetto was so good about helping me out with everything I needed to do and know. I would highly recommend them.
Dignity Memorial provided compassionate, professional, and respectful care during one of the most difficult times of my life. From the very beginning, their team treated my son and our family with dignity, kindness, and genuine empathy. They explained each step of the cremation process clearly and handled everything with great care, which gave me peace of mind when I needed it most. I am deeply grateful for their support, sensitivity, and the comfort they provided during such a painful moment.

Working with this funeral home was a blessing to myself and my family. The warm, welcome and patience helped make us get through a really hard time.
I met with the funeral Director ( Rev. Alston) just about two years ago concerning my mother's final needs. He explained everything that I would need from start to finish. He kept in touch and did everything he said he would. When my mother passed away, all I did was make the telephone call and they took care of me and my family. He was kind enough to do the same with my sister. I'm so happy that I went to meet with him prior to my mother's passing. The entire presentation from the funeral home to the church service was professional. My mother was beautiful for her final viewing.

Mr Kenneth Ellis took care of my brother Mr. DERRICK BOWENS, 8/22/2025. WE just want to express our thanks from me and my family for the care you and your team provided in our time of bereavement!!!
I want to Thank you Mr Kenny and staff for being there during such a difficult time in pass of our beloved Eric Robinson funeral service. There wasn't a time that I call Mr Kenny and he didn't answer me back. If anything comes up he let me know right away. So that took a lot off me and it lighten my burden. Thank you again.
Kennys kindness and compassion made a significant difference, and I genuinely appreciate the time and effort he put into making sure my fathers funeral arrangements ran smoothly.

Thank you to the management & staff of Smith ~ McNeal Funeral Homes. They did an amazing job from the preparation of my brother (he looked just like our mom) down to the professionalism of the staff at the planning and services. Gerv & the young man displayed outstanding professionalism throughout the entire day of the services. They were patient, poised and comforting during our grief. Hats off to you Bryan for the trainings you have instilled in these young men as well as your professionalism with the family. You're highly recommended on my behalf. I recommend this funeral home to everyone!!! They are a class A act. Professional and Caring. During this pandemic time how crucial that is! They had masks if anyone needed them. Extra chairs if anyone needed it (like me). They were compassionate and caring to the peoples needs. I felt like I got royalty treatment! It surpassed any expectation I ever had of a funeral home. Thank you and God bless!

Awesome service
Mr. Hilton and staff is very professional. And I must say in the death of son. They were with my family all the way from beginning to ending.
Losing my dad in October was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life, but the team at Lowcountry especially Mr Coakley Hiltonhelped carry us through with such compassion and grace. From the first phone call to the final farewell, they treated my family like their own. Mr Hilton was patient, gentle, and incredibly thoughtfulnever rushing us, always listening, and somehow anticipating what we needed before we even knew how to ask. In a moment filled with grief, confusion, and pain, he brought peace and clarity. Every detail of my dads arrangements was handled with care and dignity, allowing us to focus on honoring him without being overwhelmed by logistics. Its rare to feel truly seen and supported during such a raw time, but thats exactly what we felt. Ill never forget that kindness. Thank you, Coakley, and thank you to the entire team for helping us say goodbye with love and grace.
