I've met with Whites Mortuary about 3 years ago upon recommendation from my cousin and others who mentioned Whites name. Upon noticing the "Pray First" plaque on the desk, I knew I wanted to utilize their pre-planning services when the time would come for my mother. Well, the time came Jan. 16, 2026, when my mother transitioned; I received great compliments of how mother was presented during the viewing, the throw blanket and programs that represented her so well. I appreciate all that Whites Mortuary has done and will highly recommend.

Mr. White and staff were very friendly and accommodating.They also were comforting and compassionate. They allowed me and my family to choose what we were comfortable with. Also, allowed me to paint my grandmothers nails , and allowed her to get her hair done they day before the funeral. My grandmother looked beautiful!

Buried my husband today and from start to finish I have been working directly with Mr. James Williams. I have received nothing but professionalism and the utmost respect from him and his staff. They were patient, accommodating, and made the process as easy as possible for my family and I. Whatever I needed, they came through. We will use them again should the need arise.

I chose Palmer Funeral Home to receive my father from a FH in Illinois, en route to his final disposition in Charleston. I wanted a FH here in Sumter to receive him, as I wanted to ensure that he was properly arranged in his casket before burial. The staff could not have been more gracious and kind. I know I was at my worst, but they took it in stride with a smile. Now that I am past the shock of it all, I want to express my gratitude for the care that Palmer FH staff provided my father and myself. I am a perfectionist when it comes to important matters, and they got Everything right. The programs that they helped me design, exceeded my expectations. They recommended the florist. I was even able to have a dove released at the end of the service. The service was also live streamed to the family members that werent able to make it to the burial. My Dad was the most hard working man I ever met; and they helped me honor him, in every way possible. I would recommend, no Highly recommend, P

Palmer Memorial Chapel -provided excellent care and service to our family as we prepared to say good bye to our beloved matriarch Vermell Edwards. They were always available and willing to answer any questions or concerns. With a very large family it is not always easy to be heard, the Palmers managed to honor our wishes without offending extended family members. That certainly is not an easy task. In many ways they felt like extended members of our family. We have used Palmer Memorial Chapel for two family members and although we are not anxious to lose anyone else, we would definitely use Palmer Memorial Chapel again.

Prompt service; attention to details; anticipated our needs. Pleasant environment. Staff was extremely friendly, while still very professional.

Since 2019 Bullock has held two family funeral services plus 2 Pet Cremations and as of today planning another family funeral. I cannot say enough about the Dedication and Sympathy shown by everyone on the staff . Thanks especially to Harvin and Todd for extra care given every time.

We recently lost a beloved pet and we're told that Bullock provided cremation services for pets. I called and spoke to their pet services team and made arrangements for our furbaby to be picked up at the vets office after euthanasia. She was returned to our vet in a beautiful decorative wooden box, a cast footprint and card, also with a footprint. They did an exceptional job. Kind, thoughtful, considerate, tasteful. We are both impressed with the outstanding service provided by this group and highly recommend them. Thank you for making a difficult time a bit easier...

I called and spoke to their pet services team and made arrangements for our boy to be picked up at the vets office after euthanasia. We were very surprised to receive his cremains in a beautiful decorative wooden box with his name on a plate, a cast footprint and card, also with a footprint. We had thought we'd have to go to Sumter to pick him up but Bullock returned the cremains to the vets office. It was an exceptional job. Kind, thoughtful, considerate, tasteful. I hate to mention price about something so personal but it was extremely fair and included transportation and the box, cast, etc. We are both impressed with the outstanding service provided by this group and highly recommend them. Thank you so much for being the angel I needed just moments after finding my cat had passed away. Just 9 minutes later, I called and you were available for me to drop my Max off and begin the grieving process. You truly made a difference that day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am very, very happy with this service. We had 2 animals cremated there and coudnt ask for better service. The vet's office gave the wrong name of my pet to this company with one of my animals. So this company was only reading what they were sent over. We talked on the phone and they corrected it (with no problem) then and there. Sometimes the vets office sends wrong info so its best to double check name etc. We were contacted within 3 business days and had our baby back 2 days later. I highly recommend this company.

We've used them previously for our pets. They do a fabulous job. We used a different one recently and boy that was a huge mistake. Will only be using Bullock in the future.
