Nicos took care of my mother's funeral. The facility (the old General Harry Trexler home) is beautiful! Nicos did a great job with the planning, cards, flowers, casket choice, and really everything. Hats off to the Deacon who was wonderful. Nicos did good making the funeral work for a family that's half Catholic, and half Greek Orthodox. Everything from the Viewing to the Burial went as smooth as silk. He also worked with us to keep the cost manageable. I'm 100% happy I chose Nicos Elias (and his staff) to take care of mom's funeral!

Following the unexpected death of my mother, and being new to the area, I was forced to find a funeral home in a matter of hours. I asked friends for recommendations and I heard the name Heintzelman-Stephens over and over. So glad I listened!. From the first phone call with them, all the way through to my last goodbye with my mom, I was completely impressed with the staff and their professionalism. Rodney Koch, the supervisor, was our first point of contact. He went above and beyond for our family. His dedication to his profession is evident and Im so thankful for the respect he showed for my mom. I cannot recommend them enough!

Having buried multiple family members, this has been one of the most memorable and stress-less services to plan and hold. From Sammy the amazing therapy dog who we asked for by request, to providing the atrium room for light refreshments for out of town travelers, to the smoothless tech services of Anthony on Zoom & the mic, allowing us to arrive early to setup, all the water bottles & tissues, to the A-mazing slide show with cool transitions effects, ... I truly cant say enough good things about J.S Burkholder and their team. Matthew Jr. and Matthew Sr. went above and beyond in every possible way. My dads passing was sudden and completely overwhelming, but from the very beginning they took incredible care of him and supported our entire family. What could have been an unbearable process felt calm and manageable because they made both the processing and planning seamless, handling everything with patience and kindness so we could focus on honoring my dad and being together as a family. On November 30th my wife passed away from a rare disease, on December 7 we held her funeral. The staff of Trexler were fantastic, especially Tammy. Not only did we receive excellent personal attention. They seemed to share our grief and seemed to go above and beyond our expectations. If I could rate my experience with 10 stars I would. After meeting with other competitors, Jeff alleviated all of my fears and concerns with gentle passion. Another funeral home set a record for the most wrong answers in one conversation. When my mother passed, I was turned over to Michael. He was truly a Godsend. Tony and Ed were great helpers at the services, but Michael went to painstaking lengths to make sure my mother looked her best. He paid attention and patiently accommodated us with every detail, no matter how small. My mother would've been proud of the way she looked, and delighted with the beauty of her send off. Words cannot describe the depth of my gratitude to you, Michael. I will never forget what you did for me, my wife and my entire family.
