I used Craig for pet cremation services. He is very caring and compassionate. He came to my vet's office on Tuesday 10/10 to pick up my 15 yr old dog. He returned her ashes and paw prints on Thursday. Low and behold,nI had to call him to my home yesterday, Tuesday 10/17 to pick up my 23 yr old cat. He brought his ashes back today. Unfortunately, I will probably be needing him again soon as my remaining cat is 18 and has never been alone. Both of us are lost after losing our family in so short of time. Thank you Craig.

I was completely lost when my mother passed. I was knee deep in shock, grief and had no idea where to begin with a funeral. I called several places and after every call I felt less and less confident that there would be anyone I would trust with.. her. The calls felt rehearsed and lacked any real sympathy and then aiming directly for the transactional aspects. We all want our lives to end with dignity and be handled with the knowledge that we are someone's family. When I called Newcomer I knew that their sympathy was genuine. Shelby, was so, so wonderful. She really took the time to walk me through every step and was patient with my indecision and grief. I would not have been able to get through that part of losing her without Shelby or all of the staff I spoke to at Newcomer. We had a wonderful experience 27 years ago when my father passed away recently upon my mothers passing, I looked at a few other places out of location, convenience, and decided to go back to newcomers where the entire experience from start to finish was much more personable, direct, informative, and compassionate. Since death is a part of life, we will continue to use newcomers in the future.

My family has been using Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home since 1977, when my grandmother passed, and for many other family members and family friends. Last month, my mother passed. It's hard enough to lose your last parent, but devastating to also lose your best friend. Russ was there from the very beginning, starting with picking her up, the consultation, to the very end at the cemetery. Russ has always been very kind, understanding, and compassionate in the worse time of your life. My parents paid for their funeral 40+ years ago, which I highly recommend, and will do so myself, when I talk to my sons. Doing that helps your grieving family immensely. inherited an American Flag that draped my Grandfathers casket in 1969. It was dirty and obviously neglected so I wanted to clean it up and place in a nice wooden display case with his information to honor both his service in WW I and the country he loved. The problem was I had none of the information to add. A public records search both governments and private produced nothing but a VISA bill. The cemetery had little info either but did have the name of Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home that handled the arraignments. I explained my project to Russ Eckard and not only was he able to help he had records of the funeral on file along with others as far back as 1929. Russ was kind enough to scan his file and send via e-mail later that day. I can see why three generation of my Family has used Eckard Baldwin in our time of grief, caring, professional and efficient, cant ask for anything more. I highly recommend Eckard Baldwin should the need arise, you wont be disappointed.

Russ and his entire staff were excellent when my mom passed away. From the gentlemen that came to get her, through the planning meeting, and especially the service; everyone was so professional and heartfelt. During such a difficult time, everyone made us feel comfortable. They help you find the perfect way to honor your loved one.

There arent enough good things I can say about Anthony Funeral home. My grandmother was near and dear to all of our hearts so losing her was not easy for my family. Molly stepped right in to help us plan everything that my grandmother had wished for. She even made an entire slideshow of pictures showing what an amazing life my grandma had. She was there to answer any questions to help make everything as smooth as possible. Dave Anthony went above and beyond the day of the service. Making sure the video was set up on a tv that Molly had made, he took pictures of the flowers with their cards so we could remember who sent what, and so much more to make such a hard day run so smoothly. They even gave us blank thank you cards so that was one less thing we had to worry about. If you are looking for a funeral home that genuinely cares about you and your family, Anthony Funeral Homes is the right choice. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make such a hard time run so smooth

The Anthony Funeral Home staff was willing to talk me through the steps to set up advance arrangements when my wife was put into hospice. Samantha was friendly and courteous with her assistance in this. When my wife passed just 2 days later, I called and Samantha happened to be the on call person. She was comforting and professional with her explanation as to what would be the process would be. The service they setup was wonderful. Thank you all for your assistance.

We are so grateful to Rose Hill Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism. Jim, the funeral director, and Amber, his assistant, went above and beyond to make a very difficult time easier for our family. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care meant so much as we said goodbye to our mom. The service was beautiful, and everythingfrom the timing to the coordinationwas handled perfectly. We had over 50 people stay and enjoy the catered food, which was excellent. Everything came together seamlessly, and we truly appreciate the exceptional care and service provided by the entire Rose Hill team. What a top-notch funeral home  the chapel is stunning, with breathtaking stained glass windows. Its truly a hidden gem, conveniently located at the corner of Market St. and Smith Rd. in Fairlawn. Some of our family didnt even realize there was a funeral home on the grounds of the Rose Hill Burial Park, but after their experience, theyll never forget it. Thanks to all

I had a pet cremated by Hummel back in December 2019. I still get comments on how beautiful the paw print is on the heart background. I had another kitty pass this month and I was devastated to learn that Hummel no longer offers this service. I wanted to come by and drop a review to remind you guys how thankful I am for you all of these years later. It takes special people to cremate and honor loved ones. Thank you so much

This is a very cost affordable option for people offering better pricing than other local funeral homes I looked into after my fathers passing. Their service is anything but cheap though. They were extremely easy to work with and easy to get ahold of. We contacted Heritage Cremation Society after the sudden and tragic loss of my mother in law. Everyone, and especially Beverly, Dean, and Helen were wonderful to work with. They were very patient, answered all of our questions, and were very thorough with providing information. We also had a private goodbye and she looked absolutely beautiful. Let's be honest.. no one WANTS to use this service, but you'll be glad you chose Heritage. They were so kind and patient with me as I navigated my mother's untimely passing on my own. I had set up a life insurance policy ahead of time, knowing that my mother's dementia would eventually claim her life, and Heritage handled everything else after that. All forms and such were able to be done online via email and afterwards the delivered mom's remains and the urm I chose to my home. I'd like to say a special thanks to Amy who was so kind and understanding to all my questions and forgotten things. She was always there with a kind reply and an easy way to help fix somethingmy scattered brain had overlooked. Thank you for making an awful time a little less scary. I cannot recommend Heritage enough.

Hopkins did an amazing job for my mom's funeral. Cassidy was extremely helpful through the entire process and was quick to answer any questions we had. Great place , just like any family dealing with loss we had alot going on plus we lost brother & sister n law with in 4 days of each other and we was devastated didnt have everything together and this place was wonderful kind patient no pressure .... thank you for taking care of our loved one and being so kind..
