Extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful, and patient through the whole process especially being this is my first time having to do funeral services myself for someone.

Brooks Memorial provided great advice, service, detail, respect, and love during my period of grief pertaining to my Dad. The whole Staff Miss Jackie, Miss Robin, Miss Elaine, and Mr. Artie are amazing. Great teamwork among themselves and communication. My Dad's memorial service was better then expected. They went above and beyond in preparation and detail. Most important the warmth and love you feel from Brooks is great. A lot of funeral places rush you and push you based on experience. Very satisfied with their services. My daughter was admitted several times. I want to say that the staff are caring. ER personnel wonderful. Joe a nurse at the ER. Was fabulous. The 3rd floor , Nurse Noel and Sidney were very caring . I never had a problem.

Peter and the staff were thorough and professional. The handling of picking up my mom and allowing me and some family members to see her for a few minutes before cremation was caring. We appreciated that. Ashes and all documents were ready for pick up on date indicated.

As we know when a loved one passes many emotions are running in all directions. Often times we forget to think about being level headed and understand what is needed from us to ensure our loved ones are remembered at their best and most peaceful. My mom passed the same day while I was on the west coast celebrating my friends next decade birthday. My emotions were on a marathon pace and I had to collect myself on what to do. I asked my husband to look at the most economical cremation services. And he found City Funeral Services (CFS) online. I kept reading the website and I called up a few funeral homes to compare prices. My goodness no one prepared me for the price gauging when you are the most emotional and irrational. I went to a funeral home in downtown Manhattan and they were priced insanely high and shown all types of caskets from top tier 20k to the least expensive of $3.8k casket just for cremation only. This just doesnt make any sense and I understand its business however t

The staff was friendly and helpful. The chapel was clean, and comfortable for our service. They allowed parking for our guests in the front. Very affordable. Was what my family and I needed.

Mr. Peter Frosilone of Bryn Mawr Chapels in Yonkers, New York, coordinated the funerals of both my mother (Cecilia, Nov-2016) and father (Frank, Jul-2020). He handled both funerals with near flawless professionalism, efficiency and diplomacy, while keeping our costs to a competitive level. In the case of my father, who passed away under the difficult circumstances during peak covid-19 cases, Peter faced near insurmountable obstacles. But Peter overcame all challenges to enable us to bury dad, a member of the Greatest Generation, with Christian dignity and a final military salute provided by a US Army Honor Guard.

My mother passed away 53 years ago . My family used Marcus Jackson Funeral Home and although I was just a little kid the service was beautiful. The people there made my Mom look as beautiful as she always was. They made sure my family was comfortable with how they handled everything.My family has used this funeral home for years and they have been so good to us. Their services are impeccable. In our family's time of grief, we could not have asked for better support than what we received from Joanne and Mark. The funeral was planned and coordinated to perfection. Joanne helped me make the critical decisions and expedited the arrangements, and the care afforded my mother by Mark was impeccable. The recommendations for spiritual support were superior. June 2025. I tragically lost my twin brother Dan. The funeral home director (Anna O) was incredibly soft-spoken, professional, considerate, caring, patient, kind, helpful, and understanding. And not pushy at all. She even went to the funeral and burial and printed out extra prayer/memorial cards for me at no extra cost. She answered all my questions and more with the utmost care imaginable. Honestly I could not have asked for a better experience, considering all my grief at the time and all my grief that was and is to follow. Thank you again Anna.

This funeral home was exactly what our family needed. My wifes grandmother called Peter a Berakah, and he helped us care for our families patriarch, my wifes Zaydeh. You will be pleased with everything they do for you and provide to you. They made an unknown process easy, less stressful and the cost was far less then we thought it would be. Bernie even gave direction, education and advice for the cemetery. Peter and Bernie made it possible for our family to celebrate our Bubbes life they way we wanted and with the resources we had. The Sinatra staff was very attentive, on point with everything place clean and everything my family wanted done. Erika one of their employee was the best my family and I are very satisfied with how our loved one was fixed to be viewed she looked beautiful and they put her exactly how I asked for everything was done perfectly and on point. No one should ever have to make arrangements for their 20 y/o son but if we had to do it anywhere, were thankful it was at Sinatra. We walked in, met Frank, Laura, and Jackie and felt my baby would be at peace there. It didnt feel like a transaction but instead felt like support. They made everything simple for us, didnt nickel and dime us, and were compassionate, loving and understanding all along the way. The house was packed, they worked with us. We didnt like the caskets, they worked with us. We needed timing arrangements, they worked with us. Our boy looked great too and they paid special attention to his hair, my babys prize possession. Growing up, we had a go-to funeral home. Sumatras has now taken over that special place in our hearts. Forever grateful for sending my boy off at peace, looking good and surrounded by loads of love and compassion.
