Jim went above and beyond to help my family when I lost my father. He was so kind and willing to work with us on a number of sensitive issues that we had. He treated us with so much kindness. He is the only funeral home around that doesn't try to take advantage of people, trust me, I talked to All of them! He's trustworthy and very down to earth. I appreciate what he did for us so much. Losing my mother was the hardest thing I have ever gone through, and I am so grateful that we chose S.L. McLaughlin Funeral Home to handle her services. From start to finish, Shannon and Jeff were professional, patient, and incredibly compassionate. They answered every question, honored every request, and guided my family step by step, even when things became hectic on our end. The service itself was absolutely beautiful  the crowning ceremony Shannon performed moved everyone in attendance. Even when an unexpected mishap occurred during the service, she handled it with grace and made sure everything still flowed smoothly. Up to the very last moment at the cemetery, the care and dignity they showed my mother and our family was evident. I could not have asked for a better experience during such a painful time, and I would recommend them without hesitation.

When our dad passed away, we were lucky our parents had pre planned their funerals. My sibling and I knew that Keenans would take good care of him. I spoke with Jim after Dad died, and went to Keenans two days later for final arrangements. Jim was kind, empathetic and professional. Keenans took care of everything. When I called with follow up questions, I was treated again with patience and kindness. The wake and funeral went smoothly and beautifully. The Keenans team anticipated our every need. Vicki helped me with a question after the funeral and Julie has reached out to see if we needed anything further. I highly recommend and am grateful for Keenans experience and compassion.

The Keenan Team has been tremendously so helpful. Took over all services for me while I was in shock and grieved for my loss. They just took over the whole process also checked on me afterwards on how I was doing mentally and coping with the loss. Definitely their service is more like family than business. Levine Memorial Chapel recently handled my mothers funeral. They were absolutely wonderful, patient, kind, and professional. My mother was transported to New Jersey to be buried next to my father and all aspects of the service were flawless. They went out of their way to make sure that I received my death certificates in a timely manner. I very strongly recommend them to the community.
