My mother recently passed away, and I was referred to Rochester Cremation by the folks at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center. I cannot stress enough just how patient, compassionate, and helpful Corey was throughout this entire process. If you're reading reviews trying to figure out the right place to call for a loved one --> Contact Rochester Cremation and ask for Corey. I promise you won't regret this decision.

Rochester Cremation treated my family with the utmost compassion during our time of grief. Cory was incredibly helpful and compassionate while guiding us through the cremation process. He never rushed us in any decisions, while behind the scenes he was trying to get all arranged as soon as possible while family was still in town. Cory was able to arrange the cremation so our family was able to have a private viewing at the cemetery. We are truly grateful for the care that was taken by Cory and Rochester Cremation.

Our experience with Brighton Memorial Chapel could not have been any better! Jarrod provided stellar serivce and flexibility throughout the whole process. In addition, we had logisitical components - our loved one lived in PA and Jarrod was helpful in collaborating with the Funeral Home locally to get our loved one to Rochester. Those who we worked with from Brighton Memorial were kind, compassionate and flexible. We are grateful for Jarrod and his team and highly recommend them!!

Danny was so professional and helpful with our Mother's funeral. We were on the road when she died, and he made sure that the initial arrangements were handled efficiently. Everyone made us feel important. We highly recommend!

I was absolutely florred about the way New Comer handled my mother's funeral. The empathy that they exhibited, the professionalism, the understanding and them literally caring about our requests and needs was so unexpected because I couldn't have asked or wanted anything better. I was devastated losing my mom, especially on Christmas Eve, and Jane and John at New Comer, were absolutely wonderful. There is NOT one single thing I would have changed about the services provided. They were so great, that my husband and I requested information for planning future arrangements for ourselves with them. I am giving them the highest review I can, and I would truly recommend them.

I called New Comer due to how they handled my sister in laws funeral arrangements. I met with Heidi who was extremely professional , and very empathetic to my situation. She walked me through the necessities for a funeral and she was knowledgeable about the products. I was so grateful for all her assistance as well as her calm welcoming Demeanor. I strongly encourage anyone who unfortunately has to plan a funeral or cremation to go to New Comer not just for the professional environment but the entire experience and the fees are pocket friendly. 10/10... they ran the funeral services flawlessly. Keith at the Ridgeway office was so kind, patient, thoughtful and encouraging during the devastating time of my brother, Aaron Furley's departure from this life. Keith wrote a wonderful obituary and helped us so much. He was as concerned as we were when Aaron was taking too long to come back from the crematory and promised to go get him himself if he wasn't back before we had to return home to Florida. Keith was very helpful, friendly and respectful while helping my sister and I with the details for our father's final rest. We went to New Comer for our mother as well, and they were kind, efficient and low-pressure then too.

The Memorial Service for my sister was extraordinary, beautiful and done with the utmost respect. Every request, detail, and conversation was done with compassion, professionalism and a spirit of excellence!!! I lost my Dad in 5/16 & Mom 11/23. Newcomer was wonderful in caring for both of my Parents. Their wakes was held at their Empire location. There were alot of family n friends visiting n Newcomer made sure everyone was comfortable! Both my Parents were shipped to our home state of NC. Newcomer assisted with flights n connections with the Funeral Home there. Newcomer also assisted in caring for my Cousin's care. The Whitfield/Pridgen family thank u! At a traumatic time Anthony Funeral staff was comforting and addressed all our concerns.

Very pleasant, respectful and sensitive people. No matter how many times I called in need of information or guidance, Shelley always had an answer or a solution. During what was an incredibly difficult time, AFS made things a little easier.

They were very kind and courteous and compassionate. From start to finish, I was very comfortable working with them.

I met the funeral director Tommy under some really rough circumstances. As a family, we were not the easiest, the most organized, or the most united. But Tommy gave grace. We went from planning a full viewing/service + burial, to a service + cremation, to just a cremation at the end. It broke me. I stepped away from the family and the planning but Tommy was fully accessible to me still at all times of the day. He was a listening ear, he shared some of his lived experiences with me, he validated me and shared words of wisdom and encouragement. He also made sure that I received a full refund for my donation since my family and I had nothing to do with anything. Tommy is a really intelligent, calm and cool brother who really wants to do right by local families. This is truly a beautiful, full service, black family-operated establishment. Totally recommend.

Mr. Gainey is wonderful! He is very professional, thoughtful, and communication with him is seamless. Through planning, service, and burial, Mr. Gainey has been exceptionally supportive and knowledgeable. He and his team prepared our Mother beautifully -- beyond our expectations! Rick and his sister were very helpful and accommodating to our requests. They make the process as easy as possible and are very respectful.

The staff at Falco were so wonderful to us during the unexpected passing of our mother. They were kind, understanding and knowledgeable with the whole process. They guided us through the whole process and accommodated our needs. My mother looked so beautiful the last time we saw her and said our final goodbye. We are forever grateful.

I initially went to White Oak because we knew my mother wished to be cremated, and I wanted to put in place a pre-planned cremation. We also knew my mom wanted her ashes scattered in two different places, neither of which were to be in the area. As it happened, my mother passed about a week after I made the arrangements. Mike and everyone else at White Oak were gracious and kind. No question of mine was too strange or complicated for them. They separated Mom's remains into two urns, and gave me valuable information about how to transport cremated remains as I flew across country. I highly recommend White Oak.

My father died, unexpectedly, the day after Christmas. He had donated his body to the U of R medical donation program. However, they were not able to accept his body and his alternative wish was to be cremated. On short notice, White Oak took care of everything and where incredibly kind and helpful. We are very grateful and highly recommend their services.

Their services were very reasonable and professionally handled.
