I met the funeral director Tommy under some really rough circumstances. As a family, we were not the easiest, the most organized, or the most united. But Tommy gave grace. We went from planning a full viewing/service + burial, to a service + cremation, to just a cremation at the end. It broke me. I stepped away from the family and the planning but Tommy was fully accessible to me still at all times of the day. He was a listening ear, he shared some of his lived experiences with me, he validated me and shared words of wisdom and encouragement. He also made sure that I received a full refund for my donation since my family and I had nothing to do with anything. Tommy is a really intelligent, calm and cool brother who really wants to do right by local families. This is truly a beautiful, full service, black family-operated establishment. Totally recommend.

Mr. Gainey is wonderful! He is very professional, thoughtful, and communication with him is seamless. Through planning, service, and burial, Mr. Gainey has been exceptionally supportive and knowledgeable. He and his team prepared our Mother beautifully -- beyond our expectations!
