Our family has had experiences with several different funeral homes in the Concord area and by far, Robinson Funeral Service has met or exceeded our expectations more than any of the others we have used. During the time frame that Mr. Whitley arrived at the funeral home, the viewing was for family only, at our request. We would have gladly welcomed him if he had come to the funeral the following day or just sent a note expressing his condolences. Contrary to Mr. Whitleys opinion, Rev. Fred Robinson and staff consistently showed our family respect, an exemplary display of professionalism, answered any and all questions at any time of day or night, and made this sad occasion as easy and smooth as possible for us. Our family highly recommends this funeral home and we will definitely be using them again should the need arise.

Having never been in the position of securing services for a departed loved one, my wife and I did not know what to expect. Mr. Robinson of Robinson Funeral Services was very helpful and patient. He explained step by step all our options while working with us and was able to have our son ready within a reasonable time frame. The company demonstrated a professional demeanor. They handled our son and us with care. We feel that this is not just a business but a ministry.

Wow where do I start; from the day my family and I walked in they were truly compassionate from the lady at the front desk to the nice gentleman that helped with our needs. This place goes above and beyond to offer assistance and support where most funeral homes want and the prices were a lot cheaper than most. This is the place to go and trust them with your loved one in your time of need.

I heard good shepherd is taking care of the man that lost his wife, home and 4 dogs in a house fire. They are cremating his dogs for free. This is such a nice and thoughtful thing to do. God bless.

Good Shepherd pet services in Concord really helps takes some of the pain associated with a pets death. They treat them with dignity and respect, and offer a lot of options for pet owners to memorialize their beloved pets. Losing a pet is very difficult and its nice to know that there are businesses that care to make this difficult time a little easier. I am very grateful that places like The Good Shepherd exist in the world!

EDIT: After writing this review and thinking about it, I tried to move the plaque to the front of the box to cover the scratch/dent. The plaque bent easily when I took it off the top of the box and did not lay flat so I called John and told him the situation and asked if they could replace the plaque and he did not hesitate in doing this for me. John is truly a kind soul, someone like him should be in this business. He is so friendly and kind and I can tell he really cared about my cat but also that he cares about me. Thank you, John. This is a tough review to write, pet loss is super hard either way and sometimes people want someone to be mad at. That being said, I had a particular situation, my cat died before her euth appt and after hours so she went to an e-vet. I had to arrange pick up there, instead of my usual vet, but they were super accommodating. I had a great experience with everyone there, John was especially kind. We chose Hartsell Funeral Home to take care of Our Mother and her service.Kenny went up and beyond to make sure we understood our options and helped make it a little easier on us. Greg helped with my moms funeral details. He was very kind and helpful. Only thing is the day of the graveside service, he called three hours before the service to say that the City of Concord failed to dig the hole for her remains. To top off that news, they had set up the tent, table and chairs on the opposite side of the cemetery. After talking to Greg, he somehow got the City there, had the hole dug, moved the tent, table and chairs in time for our moms service. He went above and beyond to get things ready for our friends and family. Thank you so much, Greg. Our mom would have been very proud of her service and how things turned out.

William King work and service was top tier. Death of a love one can be very stressful and overwhelming when you are left with the task of preparing and planning for the funeral. William expertise and his knowledge along with his compassion and love for the family that he serves made the process stress free and a beautiful ending for our love one. When my son Chris passed unexpectedly my family was blessed to have family that had utilized the services of Life Celebration and when we called them they were expedient in providing the information and service that we needed.
