Review of Hutchens Funeral and Cremation Center St. Charles After my wife, Diane Estepp, passed away, my family and I were truly blessed by the care we received from Hutchens Funeral and Cremation Center in St. Charles. While we had made our funeral arrangements the year before, it wasnt until that difficult moment arrived that we fully appreciated the level of compassion and professionalism this team provides. From the moment we met with Kimberly Colbert, the funeral director, we knew we were in good hands. Kimberly was absolutely outstandingshe went out of her way to guide us through the process with patience, warmth, and thoughtful suggestions that helped make everything just right. She ensured that every detail of Dianes service reflected the dignity and love Diane deserved. The entire staff at Hutchens was equally attentive and caring. One small but meaningful gesture that stood out was the thank-you cards they provided for those who had shown support during our time of loss.
My mother in-law did some arrangement ahead of time and they walked us through what needed to be finalized. From the first phone call we had to make to us leaving, our director Abby was wonderful. She made a very tough time for our family go very smoothly.
Absolutely would recommend them

Just want to say that Family Service Director,Alexis Mast did a wonderful interview with myself and my wife about setting up our cremation. We have always turn to Baue Funeral Services with our parents and relatives. Thank you Pamela and Bradley Moses
It is so hard to lose our pets. Our boy, Jake, was our soul and heart dog. He meant the world to us. He passed away rather suddenly at home and we didnt know what to do next. My mom suggested Baue. We called and immediately spoke with Kim, who was very compassionate and kind. We took Jake to Baue the next morning for cremation as well as a private ceremony with him. Later that week I went to pick up his ashes and keepsakes. I was greeted by Teddy, who I did not even know of, and felt his emotional support. He laid his head in my lap the entire time I sat with Kim. Baue gave our boy the upmost respect, honor and compassion as well as our family. They made the best out of a very hard time. Highly, highly recommend.

The facility is really nice. The staff very helpful. The family gathering room has a great refrigerator / freezer and a long counter for food that we brought. Very clean and bright. They provided coffee and hot cocoa for the kids. The viewing room had very comfortable chairs for people during the small service.
Allie was wonderful, compassionate and attentive to our needs during this difficult time. She was a pleasure to work with.
