Osborn Funeral Home in Shreveport is the best funeral home in Caddo/Bossier; I have ever used to make arrangements for a loved one. The best staff my family has ever had to help with such a painful and difficult time. When my dad passed away recently, I was dreading making final arrangements due to past experiences with six other funeral homes in the area. The staff at Osborn was wonderful from the start Chris, a kind, helpful and friendly voice on the phone; Kelly Owens who called back just as friendly and helpful to schedule our initial meeting gave me the impression Osborn might be different. Kali and Kelly treated us like friends with such warmth and compassion, going over everything with such detail, answering every question and so helpful with the planning. My Father recently passed and I had never dealt with Osborn until then , I cant say enough good things about them. Kelly and Kali welcomed us warmly , addressed all of our concerns . They really showed so much warmth and compassion . Our situation was s little complicated , They handled it smoothly and professionally . Daphne and her team did a wonderful job with my fathers service. I had no idea how to handle any of his affairs, but they knew exactly what we envisioned and made the service beautiful. As a daughter of a funeral home owner and someone who attends a lot of funerals because of my profession I can say the staff there were absolutely wonderful! I traveled some hours to attend a service and while I was on time there weren't any programs left. One of the male attendants offered me a card with a QR code to have one digitally. When I let him know that I was from out of town and served the family with their loved ones last days he said he would do his best to find one. I was happy with the digital. After the beautiful celebration of life I was walking out to my car and the attendant came and found me to give me a program. This is what service should look like. The little things. After doing some research I saw that they even have their own choir, which I belive was used to minister to the families and friends. This choir had a healing and comforting anointing on them! HUGE shout out to Mr. Carl. That man did a phenomenal job taking care of us the day of the funeral. He is 100% professional and informed. Great job, Carl! Also, the choir was absolute fire. Wonderful job to that talented crew! Otherwise, GS took pretty good care of us. People-wise they were kind and empathetic. The communication could have been better as we'd never planned a funeral before and had a ton of confusion around the order of things. The funeral program template was a paper and should really be digital to stream line the process. The monitor in the chapel is very small which took away from the slideshow. The window panels in the chapel had duct tape, yikes. The building needs to be renovated like, yesterday.

They did amazing job for Mom Funeral service. The was kind from walking into the door to make the arrangements even after the funeral.

Burying a child was a devastating experience and I was so relieved to see staff that were professional and supportive when my thoughts and emotions were all over the place. Brandon and Madison made sure my 30 year old son had a comforting memorial service for my large family .
