Although we anticipated my dads death, (he was 90 years old) Dennis funeral home, honored the fact that he wanted to be cremated. They were in contact with us every step of the way. When we were too emotional to check in with them to make certain that varies paperwork had been signed - they checked in with us. They were kind, caring, and an extremely attentive. I am forever grateful for their care, concern and guidance.

Integrity, that's important to have if you are a funeral director. I never used them for this service (yet), but was riding my bike over the St Claude bridge one day. It's always scary because drivers are irresponsible & make it dangerous for bikers. This huge SUV got very close behind me & honked the horn, like I had some where else to go? He sped by me after we cleared the bridge & I caught him at the light & shared my thoughts. Flash 3-4 weeks later: got a flat as I cleared the bridge one day & was on the sidewalk fixing the tire. The door opens & a gentleman comes out & says "Hey, you're the guy I got into it with on the bridge a while back". I peered up and realized I was outside hie funeral business. Before I could say anything he said; "Sorry, I was wrong & I apologize". I just smiled & thanked him as he got in his car to go. This is the kind of people I wanna do business with, especially important business like his. Integrity.

They cremated my older sister 4 years ago. They did a great job and then they even transferred her ashes into the urn we'd bought from somewhere else.

They handled my cousin Sir Knight Paul Condoll ,Knights of Peter Clavier. Also, friends and teachers of the Sisters of the Holy Family. They have been very professional when I have attended the Funeral Masses. Great job ... Back in the pass you also handled the remains of my Aunt Dorothy Henderson, you took the time to handle her funeral outside of the City of New Orleans.

We are incredibly grateful to Payton and the entire staff at Greenwood Cemetery for the care and compassion they showed our family during my mothers funeral. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming, warm, and genuinely kind. There were five of us siblings, and each one of us felt personally taken care of. The staff was extremely accommodating and worked hard to fulfill every request we had, always with patience and grace. Paytons suggestions were especially helpful and thoughtful, and they truly contributed to making the day beautiful and meaningful. In a moment in my life where I felt lost and alone trying to plan for my mothers funeral arrangements the staff at Jacob Schoen from the initial phone call to the handling of her cremation arrangements has been nothing short of amazing and really moving. I want to give a sincere and heartfelt thank you especially to Calvin, he has been so attentive and compassionate from the very start and it feels a lot in some ways like hes an extension of family. I dont even know where to begin& this wonderful place was so helpful from start to finish during one of the most difficult times of our lives. I lost my mother in law two weeks ago suddenly, we called every funeral home in a 20 mile radius and they were the only funeral home to offer us help. They financially, emotionally and physically helped me every step of the way. Calvin Amato was our director and him and his entire crew were so incredibly helpful for us. They cremated my mother in law, and offered us the chapel to rent to hold her services, helped us set up, pick up host her services, recommended a pastor for us TOTALLY last minute, created our slideshow of pictures to play, held our hand with paperwork, and helped us with the death certificates as well. Most importantly they worked with us financially when it was a real blessing for us as it was so sudden and unexpected for us. Locally owned and run by a truly amazing family that genuinely care, I highly recommend their services.

I had my sons Services here. It was a beautiful service, but what I did not like was the funeral directors coming over to interrupt and in the services. It seemed kind of cold. I did like the communication with them calling me back, and the way they knew how to handle everything. I provided the decorations and my son. I had boxes of stuff there. I was so devastated at the end and particularly give them the box that my son was in, but they already knew to keep that box (Which I did not show them) and return the rest. I was also able to make the last payment two days before his services. another issue that I had was that it took months for me to get my sons death certificates. They told me that it would be mailed to me from the state, but it wasnt. They had the certificates the whole time and they never contacted me about them.

This last year, I unfortunately lost three of my babies one very unexpectedly the love and compassion I felt from Heavens Pets truly amazing if it werent for Karolyn and Althea I dont think I couldve handled it. Can't say enough about our experience with Mothe's. My father passed at home with hospice, we were all there distraught. DJ came to pick him up, it was late in the night. DJ was so compassionate and respectful. From the manner in which they transferred my dad and had him presented before they left the house with him, to the very respectful way they drove away. And Shannon, the funeral director, couldn't have been more gentle and respectful in the way she presented everything to us all the way to the way she let us see him one last time in a private parlor. We had a much better memory of seeing my dad for the last time verses when he was in his last hours at home. We had my dad cremated and even in the manner he was given to us. My family is grateful for Mothe's and their personal and respectful processes.
