I was very pleased with the care and service provided by Journet-Bolden Funeral Home. The staff was courteous, professional, and always polite. My mother personally sought out the mortician, Mr. Albert Polk, who, along with the entire team, exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled with care and compassion. They took care of all of my mothers wants and needs and helped her prepare for the end of her life with dignity and grace. Their thoughtful support eliminated the stress from what could have been an overwhelming time. I could not have asked for better service, and Im truly grateful.

From preplanning for our parents with Monique to Dad's much sooner than expected services with George, our family received the most caring and informational service from the entire Pellerin's staff in New Iberia. Dad's services were done with such attention to detail, it was amazing. We could not have asked for a more beautiful service. It was as though George knew dad personally since Dad's favorite hobby, fishing was put into every aspect of the service. Our family is forever grateful to Pellerin's New Iberia.

Pellerin's funeral home serviced us in a way that was personal and caring. They were incredibly professional while also being sympathetic and attentive. The funeral home director Mr. George stayed in touch with my family every step of the way. He was very understanding and respectful of our tragic situation. We were given a private room if needed during visitation. Any gifts and letters, they held on to them for us and gave them to us after the funeral. We didn't have to worry about anything except for mourning our loss. There was an extensive and gorgeous selection of urns, caskets, tribute packages, and adornments. Mr. George guided us through everything from transportation from the coroners, to preparation for the funeral, to handing off the urns and gifts. Despite such a hard time, I would say this was a rather pleasant experience. I'm forever greatful to Mr. George and Pellerins Funeral Home. Evangeline Funeral Home staff presented themselves with respect, concern, and sympathy for our loss with a sincerity that was deeply felt and shared. The staff took very good care of our family member and us, considering all those members who had medical issues. The staff felt like friends to us. We just lost my Mother Jean on March 3rd. I dont care what people say, nothing can prepare you to lose your Mother. I see why my brother wanted us to plan ahead I just wasnt able to handle it ahead of time with all that was happening. Kenneth Pellerin and the wonderful staff at Evangeline Funeral Home took control where we fell short. Kenny was so polite and understanding while he made us feel like family. We desperately needed that bc funerals are hard enough. His experience showed up at a most difficult time. He didnt miss a beat with details, patience or feelings. The staff was gracious and so sweet to us too. As far as we are concerned everything was perfect for wake and funeral day.
