Came here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). I didn't come here to visit a loved one (as I don't know anyone buried here), but came to experience the cemetery overall. Nestled between Glendale, Glassell Park and Atwater Village is this cemetery perched on a hill. You drive around different points of the cemetery and get views of Griffith Park, Glendale, Eagle Rock and peeks of the DTLA skyline. There's so much to explore and it's so serene. They have a beautiful art museum thats culminated with the Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection painted by Jan Styka and Robert Clark. Insanely large painting mounted on a wall. The story and description are very beautiful and emotional. You can also visit different mausoleum that are inspired by the Renaissance Era. Overall, a fantastic place to visit to experience beauty within the mortal, art and history. A must for religious, historical and artistic fans.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Grand View Crematory and especially to Marissa, who provided exceptional support during the services for my brother, Joseph William Dunlap Jr. The cremation services and the space provided were perfect, affordable, and allowed us to honor him in a warm, peaceful setting. Marissa and the team went above and beyond, ensuring everything was handled with care and compassion, bringing comfort to our family in a difficult time. Krystin was very accommodating with all our request . Provided great input in planning the Memorial for my mom. My mom was well taken carried of. Thank you Krystin
There are not enough stars, Krystin is absolutely wonderful! Planning the funeral or cremation of a loved one is never easy but Krystin really does help you in amazing ways. My initial call was just to ask a few questions, she was kind and did not mind my questions, as other places I called couldn't be bothered. She went above and beyond for me and my family. On the actual cremation day Krystin and her assistant were so helpful, they guided me and assisted during the whole process, I understand this is their job but she does it with so much care that you don't see her as a funeral director you see her as a friend. Her effortless kindness shows in everything she does. I can honestly say that as much as I don't ever want to use her again she will definitely be my first call when it's needed. I am eternally grateful for her care, guidance and understanding at the worst time of my life.
Kristin was amazing. As hard was lto lose my cousin, Kristin showed compassion and dedication to make sure I was not worrying about the after care. She took that burden from me and carried me through until the end, Thank you Kristen, I highly recommend Walter's funeral home for every step of the process of losing a loved one.
