We appreciate the staff at Bridges Funeral Home. They were very helpful in sending us their itemized list for funerals. This helped us prepare for the unfortunate event. We were able to ask them questions that pertained to the burial and they always took their time and answered each one. They were very hospitable and kind. Many emails and phone calls and text were used after we left the facility to make sure everything was as the family wanted. We appreciate their business, and how efficiently it was run . thank you for giving us comfort and helping the process be so easy. You blessed our family with peacefulness on her entrance to heaven. Dennis and his staff were wonderful handling my Mothers funeral and burial. My Mom always said she wanted to go to Bridges Funeral Home. I stopped in Stevens Mortuary for a visit recently. I got to meet Owner, Mary Evelyn Cantwell, America's oldest active Embalmer. She is an inspiration. She is assisted by two other Embalmers and Funeral Directors, Don and Eric. These folk are quality funeral professionals. Their beautiful grounds and facilities make for a warm, caring atmosphere. As a Minister, I can recommend Stevens in your hour of need. These are nice people!

We used Cremation Options 20+ years ago when my brother passed and they were so kind and sympathetic. My mother recently passed and I called for arrangements. Again, they were all extremely helpful and sympathetic. All options and prices were explained clearly. There were no surprise upcharges unexpected changes to the quoted price. One of the most respectful businesses I have dealt with. Would absolutely recommend them if cremation is what you or a loved one chooses.

Jim and the whole crew at Cremation Options are amazing. They offer pretty much any level of service that you choose. And they do it with compassion and no sales pushes towards more costly (and profitable) options that you might or might not want. In our case, we went with what both of my parents wanted--pretty much bare bones (they died 14 years apart and we used Cremation Options in each case). Very laid back and comforting experiences for us. They recently helped us get both Mom and Dad into the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. I've had less than stellar experiences with various funeral homes over the years. Cremation Options is the best if it fits what you are looking for.

Professional and courteous.

My mom passed away on July 24, 2024. I had arrived at Knoxville, Tennessee, on July 18 for a weekend vacation. Three hours later from arriving my Mom had a massive hemorrhagic stroke. In just minutes my world changed and 7 days later she was gone.

I had a wonderful experience. Brian was very helpful. Services were prompt and professional.

I knew my mom was in great hands. My husband originally took over for me with the phone call. My husband had told me the funeral home was super informative and professional. When I finally took over, Brian was super helpful in answering any questions I had. He was super helpful in helping me with paperwork. Brian made the process easier for me after losing so much sleep. I finally met Brian in person, a few days ago. He was great. I'm thankful to know my mom was in very good hands. Losing my mother in law has been one of the hardest things I have ever been through. Fred's personal and professional service went above and beyond. We are from out of town and he literally met us at the hotel to fill out the questionnaire for the death certificate. He was compassionate and personable. He was able to process our payment right there on his phone.
