John is the nicest person to work with. There was sincere care and concern in his voice. He made a difficult task very smooth and effortless. I highly recommend Smith Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
People are very helpful and respectful. They promptly answered my questions and provided exactly the information I needed to move forward.
Losing my Daddy was by far the worst day of my life. I had no idea where to go or who to call. My uncle made a few phone calls, and had mentioned how nice John was when they spoke. When I called he made sure I understood everything. They were so patient with me and absolutely phenomenal throughout all of this. When people ask me who handled my Daddys cremation, and I mention them, all I hear are good things. I dont think my heart could handle anymore grief. Ill forever recommend these fantastic people. I cant thank them enough for everything.

Very kind and understanding folks. Always available when needed and they keep it professional. I highly recommend their services.
I am so very thankful to have worked with Nelson and Sons for funeral arrangements for my mother. Originally from GA, I moved my mother from GA to Murfreesboro area a little over 5 years ago to care for her as she battled Alzheimers and Vascular dementia. She fought a long battle but as her time with us would wind down at the end of March, we started making preparations. Our plan was to send her back to GA for final burial so we needed a funeral home here as well as GA. Through divine direction, we landed with Nelson and Sons in Murfreesboro to prepare her for the return to GA. From that moment on, we were treated us as family. Brandon, our contact, was available, attentive, patient and showed us the utmost respect. He answered ALL of our many questions from more than one family member. He took care of everything with exceptional care down to the finest details, walking with us every step of the way through the passing of my mom to getting her back to GA safely. I cannot imagi

They took care of my mom and my dad, eight years apart. They went above and beyond. So nice, caring, and helpful. Cannot reccommend them more.
The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable and so helpful during the worst times in life. I appreciate the kindness they showed my mother and me as we made arrangements and dealt with the death of my beloved father. I highly recommend their services to anyone. Thank you for all you do for grieving families and our beloved deceased family members. You treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve while keeping the costs very reasonable.
I cant brag enough on our experience with Murfreesboro Funeral Home. They became our family for a week. Mr Stapleton went out of his way to visit my mom at home to arrange the service and then traveled back to her home late Saturday evening, after services, to deliver the flowers and food. We had the entire building on Saturday, so we didnt have to worry about sharing the space with other families. And last, their price is significantly less than others in town.

We were treated with kindness, caring and respect of our grief at the loss of my husband. He died at home under hospice care. When they arrived to transport his body to the funeral home, they were very polite and gave us time for a final goodbye and covered him with a flag respecting his military service. At the funeral home again it was a polite, caring atmosphere and a follow up message a few weeks after ther service. Thank you to all of them.

Kimberly was great in explaining all the products they offer and breaking down things I did not understand.
Kim Thomas who helped us with arrangements was great. Explained everything, answered questions and was able to get a spot close to James' brother in the Field of Honor. Riselawn Memorial Gardens is beautiful and has been the resting place for many family members. If anyone asks, I will definitely recommend Roselawn and Kim.
Roselawn staff were exceptional throughout the process of laying my father to rest. They were kind, compassionate, and showed the utmost respect.
