Happy with the service, as happy as you can be at a funeral home. Professional. No lauging or joking like other places like nordgren. Not that i want a place for this kind of thing ever again but this place will be an option again.

My mother-in-law passed away a month ago, and Graham, Putnam, and Mahoney helped us through the process every step of the way . They were kind and accommodating when dealing with our family's Hindu traditions, and the short timetables required .

Our experience with Rice Funeral Home was exceptional when our son unexpectedly passed away. Celeste Rice Kimball was extremely kind and attentive to every need as we prepared for our son's funeral. She was very patient, responded to questions in a very timely way and demonstrated empathy & compassion for our sorrow. Roger Rice created a beautiful picture of our son with a beautiful lake background & his obituary, which was written by our family. We were extremely pleased with our experience with Rice Funeral Home.

Rice Funeral Home provided my family with the utmost support and caring at a terrible time in our lives, the sudden passing of my 34 year old nephew. Celeste was not only empathetic but provided us with all the information we needed, explained all of our options. We were never rushed and she kindly explained everything and answered our questions even though we asked the same questions over and over as we were so deep in grieving. Celeste was nothing but compassionate and empathetic and we feel went above and beyond what was required of them. From the handling of my nephew to the services, everything was done with exceptional care. Rice Funeral Home helped us get through a horrible time in our lives. My son died at the age of 27. Celeste did a wonderful job handling my son's funeral arrangements. She was amazing. My son's funeral could not have been handled better.

Tony and his family handled both my parents arrangements. I believe Athy is either 5th or 6th generations in the business. They are extremely sensitive and accommodating. They listened and accurately worked through all our wishes. We were provided a good faith estimate of all costs. I recommend them without reservation.

Losing my brother was a very difficult time for my family but the entire team made the planning process easy and less stressful. Billy and I were on a first name basis. I could text him anytime I needed something or had questions and he responded immediately. Billy walked us through the process of planning the services with patience and kindness. The attention to detail was exceptional, playing music that my brother loved, a video of pictures, and the room was set up beautifully with sports memorabilia, the beach, antiques, and photography equipment to remind us of the things my brother loved. Our Mom spent 13 years in a nursing home with alzheimers disease. She passed on August 11th. Katherine Erika and the whole Nordgren team turned an unbelievable heartache into a magical memorial to my Mother. My Mom looked as she did 20 years ago. And my Mom was a beauty. The wake in the church wasn't anything that I experienced. But again Nordgren Memorial Chapel walked my family through every step of the memorial service. My dad passed away in March, When I walked in to the room where his wake was I could not believe how good they made him look. They did such a phenomenal job and Erica and the rest of the staff were so friendly and inviting and caring. I cant say enough about these guys. Im very pleased and I want to thank you very much for making my dad look so handsome when he was Reunited with my mother after 35 years.

My sister passed away in January. The woman that took care of my sister was phenomenal. She did such a good job with her. I was afraid of what she was going to look like in her casket, I was literally blown away. My sister was my sister, she looked so beautiful. I absolutely recommend coming here for any of your needs when a loved one passes away.

Mr. Watson did a wonderful job with my mother's service. He was very supportive and helpful throughout our time of grief.

As we all go through making final arrangements The director, Victor Watson, was kind patient gentle he came to my home to help me and my husband make our arrangements he was very professional very thorough respectful he was not pushy he gave us the time needed to make sure that our request would be carry out at the end of our life.
