Im a nurse at a senior facility & had a very complex situation with one of our folks passing. I reached out to O'DONNELL Funeral home. Jim & Arthur, the funeral directors, Megan who handles the phones & business & even the two 20 year old men who came to us, Ryan & Tony, to bring our gentleman to the funeral home were beyond amazing to deal with. We had a lot of phone calls, we had a lot of hoops to jump through on both sides & they were phenomenal. They were incredibly helpful, compassionate & caring. I would give them 100 stars if I could & definitely recommend them. They're doing the right thing for the right reason.

Not a review you want to write because loosing a loved one is terrible but when a funeral home exceeds expectations and makes the process manageable for you its worth noting. I lost my mother this past Sept, one of her last requests was to call around to funeral homes to get pricing. This was very on brand for mom so I honored her request. She gave me a few names and I made some calls. Not only was Katie the easiest to talk to and sympathetic, her quote was fair and transparent. Other homes, when I had sticker shock, said they could offer discounts if we had financial difficulty. I hated that there are different prices based on reaction. Katies quote was the quote and all the services offered were the same. Beyond being the most reasonable, they were very accessible when questions inevitably arose. There is nothing easy about making funeral arrangements, even when things have been discussed in advance, but easing some of the burden with sensitivity and kindness cannot be measured.
They were absolutely thorough, thoughtful and professional. Very caring and attentive in all of their work. A special thanks to Mike and Ron. I would highly recommend them.
Katie, I wanted to plant trees in my Moms memory and was surprised to see that option not available on her obituary. I believe you used to have that option. No? I used it before for other family members and friends. Please know that some of us like to think that when someone in our lives passes on, that trees are growing in their name in a forest that truly needs them, due to unsustainable clearing practices or todays many large scale fires. Some of us really do take great comfort in knowing that our family and friends continue to live on in the form of an oak tree, with wildlife all around, benefitting from that tree for food, shelter and a place to raise their young. So in death our loved ones continue to make the planet a better place for all who remain behind. Please give us that option. Patricia Russell

I want to thank David, Shawn, and Erin for they way they treated us at Fay McCabe Funeral Home. From the first phone call to everything they did for the family and my dear daughter after her passing.
I cannot recommend Fay McCabe more highly. I was suffering, sleep-deprived from a cross country trip, and completely lost and confused dealing with it all on my own; and Sean managed to resolve the confusion, help me come up with a wake/service that was appropriate and healing and in budget and in a short period of time; plus provided a good deal of common sense and healing conversation that was immensely helpful.
