I am appreciative of the compassion and care shown to my pet here during his visits. My cat was vomiting nonstop and we couldnt figure out why after numerous tests at his regular vet. Rochester Animal Hospital was recommended to me by his regular veterinarian. Once we brought him in, I was shown professionalism and honesty. We were brought back to the room promptly. The tech, Sam, assessed him, and was honest about the possible wait times due to other more critical cases. She went above and beyond, showed kindness and checked on us during our wait. After being provided with my options, I went ahead with surgery. My pet spent a night here. Sam even sent me pictures during his stay here, which added a personal touch to his visit. Granted, the price is on the higher side, but quite typical for emergency veterinarian medicine. I was updated throughout his care here numerous times. As a nervous pet parent, I was appreciative of the clear communication I was provided with. During discharge,
I was honestly freaking out when we came in, and the entire team at Animal Emergency Center in Rochester was so great. The process was quick and efficient, which helped calm me down right away. Dr. Philpot was incredibly detailed, compassionate, and had such a reassuring bedside manner. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with the plan. You can tell she truly cares about the animals and their families. Im so grateful for the care we received today. Thank you for making a stressful situation feel manageable. Freyja is home and resting comfortably.
I had to take my senior dog, Odie, in due to some heart and breathing issues. I called prior to going to ask a few questions, they got some details and told me they would bring him back as soon as I got there, and they did just that. Shortly after I was placed in a room to wait for him. The vet and vet tech both kept me updated and informed as to what was going on, how Odie was doing and treatment plan. They did take him in the back and have me sit in a room alone, which was a different experience than I am used to but I did not mind because the staff were so warm and friendly. I trusted he was in great care even though I could not see him. (Wanted to mention this because I saw it as a negative in another review) Eventually they brought him back to me while we waited for labs and told me it would be about 30 mins. It was just over 30 mins before the vet came back in to give me an update on Odie. The vet suggested to be seen by the cardiologist. I didn't even know they had a cardiolo
