Incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They were here for us during this difficult time, and took great care of my dad through all steps of the process.
The did a great job with my son not only that they are very sweet and kind
Many thanks to Kathy and Jake at Nie Funeral Home. I was so impressed that even though the funeral/cremation of my loved one was handled in another state, they provided kind, patient, and compassionate support/guidance re: my questions about traveling with cremated remains to my loved one's final resting place. I also appreciate having the appropriate urn for traveling. Thank you, Kathy and Jake.

Muehlig Funeral Chapel provided professional, genuine, and compassionate care during a very difficult time for our family. They were extremely respectful and accommodating of Asian culture and customs, which meant a great deal to us. Special thanks to Valerie, our funeral director. She worked closely with us to stay within our budget and truly did everything possible to help. The embalming was outstandingmy father looked peaceful, like he was simply asleep. It was one of the best embalming jobs I have ever seen. I highly recommend Valerie and Muehlig Funeral Chapel for their professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
Earlier this year my 91 year old father went to sleep for the last time. He graduated from the University of Michigan medical school & he went on to become an outstanding orthopedic surgeon & professor at the U of M medical school. He devoted himself to improving patients surgical outcomes & enriching his medical students abilities, understanding, & knowledge; so, it was somehow fitting that he died while receiving care at the same medical center he devoted his life to. Before he died, he left instructions that he made arrangements for his funeral & burial at Muehlig funeral chapel. As usual, he made an excellent choice. The kindness, sensitivity, & compassionate attention to detail from all of the staff at Muehlig was beyond my expectations. In a few short meetings with Carly Simpson, the Funeral Director, we developed a plan for his funeral service at Muehlig, & his burial service, which was held at Forest Hills Cemetery. Carly skillfully honored his life by officiating the
Everyone we interacted with was so kind and caring. They made a really hard time as easy as it could have been.

Forest Hills Cemetery in Ann Arbor, Michigan is a very large cemetery. It is a rural, garden Cemetery that was established in 1857.Walking through the cemetery you can respectfully admire the ornate gravestones, many of while will qualify as cemetery art. I was also impressed with the number of old and stately trees that are prominent throughout the Cemetery. Forest Hill is the final resting place of a number of Notable people including Governor Alpheus Felch and Hall of Fame University of Michigan Football Coach Glenn Bo Schembechler. Forest Hills is a beautiful well maintained Cemetery.
Filed under taphophile: A fairly sizable (65 acres) and historical cemetery located in the heart of Ann Arbor. The first burial of the over 19,000 in total was Dr. Benajah Ticknor a former Navy surgeon in 1959. The cemetery is aesthetically pleasing with its rolling topography and plenty of shade trees.
Convenient location only a stone's throw away from campus with a variety of unit options. Was hoping to see some ghosties {, but the friendly staff guy (thanks mr. angeles!!! ) said they were on sabbatical *sigh*. I did get to see a wild squirrel tho so it was totes worth it! = You WILL get wet so def bring a poncho!!!

Everything I have done with them -- all the memorials for our church members, as well as for my husband, have been superb. They are top notch and have been the leader in this region for years. They are the BEST!
Found everyone to be kind, respectful, helpful, and thorough. I'm so grateful for their service through the whole process.
They were recommended to me by Arbor Hospice, when my husband was close to passing away at home. He wanted a simple cremation, and I found them to be very respectful and compassionate throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I stopped in today and was greeted by Aaron who asked if I was visiting for a special reason. I told him I was visiting my parents for my mom's birthday. He helped me put a memorial card on the grave and offered to sing Happy Birthday with me. Which was so sweet and so we sang together. Such a sweet personal touch. Thanks again Aaron
I haven't been down in a year so it's nice to hear the good reviews for the new owners, I also felt the management previously had dropped the ball. My mother's name plate had fallen off as did a few others, when it was re attached to the wall, the plate had epoxy coming out from every side. I demanded it be corrected and they did fix the plate . I'm looking forward to visiting for prayer over mom this Christmas.
Beautiful place. Staff is great. Grounds are well cared for. Mausoleum is amazing.
