Muehlig Funeral Chapel provided professional, genuine, and compassionate care during a very difficult time for our family. They were extremely respectful and accommodating of Asian culture and customs, which meant a great deal to us. Special thanks to Valerie, our funeral director. She worked closely with us to stay within our budget and truly did everything possible to help. The embalming was outstandingmy father looked peaceful, like he was simply asleep. It was one of the best embalming jobs I have ever seen. I highly recommend Valerie and Muehlig Funeral Chapel for their professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

Earlier this year my 91 year old father went to sleep for the last time. He graduated from the University of Michigan medical school & he went on to become an outstanding orthopedic surgeon & professor at the U of M medical school. He devoted himself to improving patients surgical outcomes & enriching his medical students abilities, understanding, & knowledge; so, it was somehow fitting that he died while receiving care at the same medical center he devoted his life to. Before he died, he left instructions that he made arrangements for his funeral & burial at Muehlig funeral chapel. As usual, he made an excellent choice. The kindness, sensitivity, & compassionate attention to detail from all of the staff at Muehlig was beyond my expectations. In a few short meetings with Carly Simpson, the Funeral Director, we developed a plan for his funeral service at Muehlig, & his burial service, which was held at Forest Hills Cemetery.
