My mama passed away Feb 4, 2024 . And this month has been the hardest month of my life but Shannon & Mike from Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel has made everything so much smoother & a whole lot easier , leaving my only job for me to do for my mama was to grieve and miss her . They seriously go above and beyond to make you feel not only as if your at home , but that you are family . I dont think I wouldve gotten through this hardest time of my life without Mike and Shannon . They even have a special amazing way about how they know what you need , want , and feel . They do everything they can to make the worse day of your life a whole lot better . The best choice Ive made since no longer having my mama with me is choosing this funeral Home . She went above and beyond to help me through the process after my dad passed away. My father in law passed away 10/4/2024 and my husband and I were not very sure where to have his body taken to due to him wanting to be cremated. My husband decided on Owen Funeral Home in Jtown since they honored Veterans, and at first we were hesitant I guess just due to the entirety of the situation, but I'm so very thankful we did! Kyle and the staff were so kind, compassionate, and very very professional throughout the entire process! My husband and I can't thank Kyle and everyone at Owen Funeral Home in Jtown enough for everything yall did for my father in law! The letters they send after for grief support, and different things they do to honor your loved ones that have passed on! I would recommend them to anyone! My son passed into heaven last Friday May 12, 2023 after a vigilant fight with leukemia. He was 27. Owen Funeral Homes surpassed our greatest expectations. They were caring compassionate and showed us they had respect and love for everyone especially Ryan. It wasnt a funeral, it was truly a celebration of life. Sam (and everone) are professional, compassionate and caring. My mother passed near Christmas and Sam took great care in keeping me informed about possible delays due to the holidays with regard to the issuing of her death certificate. Their funeral home is traditional, beautiful and serene with only single showings/ceremonies. I highly recommend using them for a worry free, respectful and beautiful celebration of your loved one's life.

Dustin Jones at Heady-Hardy walked me through every step of planning my funeral with my feelings and family in every arrangement. it was comfortable and affordable. I feel so relieved I'm getting what I want and my family won't be left worrying about at least this part.

Had to unfortunately have my kitten cremated after somebody had ran over him with their car. The guy who I dropped him off with was compassionate and made the process easy as it could be. The prices are very reasonable. The box/urn i got with my fur babies ashes was very nice , including the nose print and paw prints . It only took a couple days to get my little dash back. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a pet cremated due to their compassionate employees, decent prices and quick turn around.

My mother passed away suddenly and my family was totally devastated. I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Bob Wagner and his precious wife for helping my family through this heartbreaking time. Bob gave us valuable information to make difficult decisions at time when we needed guidance. Also his dear wife lead us to and provided the most beautiful hummingbird urn for our mothers ashes. This urn was heaven sent because my mother had said she wanted something with a hummingbird long ago and the one she wanted was no longer available, but Bobs precious wife had the perfect one for her. The arrangements and memorial service were all taken care of wonderfully without much needed from us. Thank you again to Bob and his beautiful wife and staff at Highland for helping us through this heartbreaking loss.

We recently had a visitation at Highlands Funeral Home, for my husband, Mark. We had him cremated in Louisiana, and brought his ashes to Louisville. It was a very simple service. Laura Wagner helped me arrange the service and pay for everything, long distance via the phone. She was very sweet and respectful of my wishes. Highly recommend Highlands Funeral Home.

When my husband passed we had not made prior arrangements. My family has always used Ratterman so I made the phone call From that call to the day of the memorial I couldnt have asked for better service. Lisa was there for me every step of the way. I had several people comment on how nice the memorial was.

Emily King and Madison Horn are compassionate and personable as well as professional. Making ones final arrangements is an unpleasant experience. Emily and Madison set my husband, son and me at ease. When my husband and I pass, Arch L. Heady at Resthaven will be taking care of all the necessities. Therefore, our family will be free to fully grieve without the weight of decision making, legal paperwork, etc.

My sweet mom wanted to have a private family viewing but thought he looked so handsome that she decided to keep the casket open during the funeral as well. After working in funeral service for years I find I can be unfairly picky. I didnt need to be, Brian and the staff took such good care of my family and our needs. We all appreciated how Brian took special care of my beloved husband, that meant more to me than anything else. Everyone was throwing out their ideas for the casket spray I couldnt imagine how it was going to turn out, but it was the most beautiful,?cheerful casket spray I have ever seen. Everyone commented on it. I will be pre-arranging my own service when I get thru a few more months.

Pearson's came highly recommended by many friends in Louisville for my uncle's funeral and I continue to be deeply moved by how thoughtful and caring the staff and team are there. At the most difficult time in my life, the staff at Magnolia Cremations were so thoughtful. They let me ask all my questions answering them some times repeatedly. They were patient as while being walked thru the process and asking my questions I cried. Everyone was very cognizant of the fact that what you're doing is probably the most difficult thing you'll do in your life and you feel the concern to help you get thru it as easily as possible.

I can't express enough how professional and nice Mrs. Keri and Mr. Brooks are. I live out of town and needed to bury my dad. I was able to pick out the casket, flowers, ribbons, ect all from 12hrs away. They texted me, they emailed me, the answered the phone! Because I live far away they worked with me on the time frame I needed to get there and make arrangements with the life I already had in place in Texas. School schedules, flight cost, funeral cost, appointments, ect. They completely understood that life be life-ing when unexpected deaths occur. Although I was stressed not one once came from them. If you want a place thats tight and together thats gonna care for your love one Precious Memories is the place to go. Their communication is on point, clear, and no unexpected surprises.
