I recently experienced the loss of my mother late on a Thursday night, and Sorensen Funeral Home was able to organize a beautiful memorial service by Saturday afternoon. Nathan, the funeral director, was incredibly helpful and demonstrated exceptional professionalism and compassion throughout the entire process. Our family is deeply grateful for Nathan's support in arranging everything in such a short time. I highly recommend Sorensen Funeral Home for anyone seeking compassionate and efficient service during a difficult time.

Nathan and Ron and all of the staff went over and beyond my expectations. We have entrusted our loved ones with this company since 1998 and will continue to do so. My father-in-law was a real character, a true Florida man in every way. He wanted to be buried in a specific military cemetery but in a cardboard box with red wiggler worms thrown in to go back to the earth. The cardboard box didnt make the cut so we chose a basic cloth coffin. It was so soft and had a subtle floral print. He wanted a proper military send off with the firing squad, he wanted to be buried in his last snarky t-shirt that we had to custom make. And his Filipino wife and family had his travel bag ready and $50 tucked into his pocket. All of these special and odd requests Ron didnt flinch at and he made it happen. Yes, the worms were a first for him. hahaha He handled everything with calm serenity and the warmest smiles. This process was a first for my wife and I and we couldnt imagine it going any smoother. Thank you Ron for everything, we are so grateful for your guidance and support. �O�

We were most happily satisfied with the Staff at McRae Funeral Home. They enabled us to have a very successful Memorial Service in their chapel. They guided us through the oft difficult steps following my wife's mother's passing.

Did a great service for my dad

Writing this review as a guest of this funeral home, as my family had a funeral here on Thursday May 15th 2025 to honor my aunt who passed away. Not sure about the details and inner workings of this because i am writing as a guest here. A small venue located in Saint Peterberg, it can fit lots of people, and essentially has 2 rooms, one in the back, and one in the front. For the funeral I attended, we used the room in the front, which also had a television. That same television was used to show a slideshow of photos of my aunt. Love that modern technology can be used in a setting like this. I attended this along with my family and some of my cousin's friends. It also had a restroom with a water fountain that one can drink water from. I point this out because My dad and I were drinking alot of water. and the service to honor was nice, except well--- I'm not religious and maybe some others are, but the priest did draw out prayers like the hail mary and our father. And nothing about that

Id like to personally thank Aurora, Capry, & my husband Kohl Rachlin for taking the time out to help my sisters & I to plan out our fathers cremation & Celebration of Life Service here this past Sunday (02/16/2025)! Everything went beautifully smooth even down to making the obituary that my sister Jasmine had made down to the trifold flyers, prayer cards & etc & for allowing my sisters & I to set up the chapel for the service! But Id like to give a special thanks to Todd DeGusipe for allowing us to have the honor of using the FH & for allowing my husband Kohl Rachlin take care of our father & to help work the service down to helping with setting the date for the cremation&.This FH will FOREVER hold a cherished spot in my heart for a life time including the staff that helped make this happen&..I HIGHLY recommend this Funeral Home&.d

The team at the location in St Petersburg is so friendly and professional. The communication was clear and services went perfect. It felt like they really cared about my friend who passed way. I hope I dont need their services again but I highly recommend them if you find yourself in need of a funeral home.

DeGusipe funeral home in St Petersburg was a great company to deal with. Aurora was so kind and helpful when it came to answering questions and finding out information for me. She handled each interaction with such care and made us feel like someone was there for us during our loss. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Kyle, Morgan and any other employees at Easy, made a very trying time in my life much, much easier. My husband and I had only discussed our wishes and desires. So therefore, nothing was ever finalized. Easy made it much easier for me. John's death was not expected. He was the healthier of the two of us. He got sick and died in approximatly 30 hours total. His death hit me like a brick. Easy made every step of the way easy for me. I was not thinking clealy. I would give Easy Afforable Cremations 10 stars if I could. I did not know how much cremation cost. I figured at least $2000.00 or more. So, when I was told $499.00 for the actual cremation and $60.00 for the death certificate, i nearly dropped over! $559.00. And of course the cost of an urn, is to me, unheard of. But it's true to their word. I want to thank the social worker (i don't remember her name) at Advent Health North Pinellas for calling my sister with a list of cremation places that were totally geared to those of us with

Having never lost someone close to me, when it happened, I was terrified of all the things my family and I would have to do. Aspen was not only compassionate, she was incredibly educated in what responsibilities the surviving have to do and when, she made the funeral arrangement process incredibly easy, she was willing to answer any question and explain in detail what and why things have to happen the way they do. She really was a bright light in one of the worst times of my life. Its weird to recommend a funeral home, but I highly recommend Aspen and her team.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience here. I will start with Aspen, she is a sweetheart, very compassionate, understanding and caring individual. I was faced with having to help my grandsons wife make arrangements for her husband. I took her to 3 different places and she chose Florida Mortuary for the main reason that Aspen was easy to talk to and very caring. She did not try to upsell us and was super helpful for this dreaded task for such a young man. Also have to give kudos to Becky, again very compassionate, caring individual. Super helpful with all of our crazy requests. Now to the day of the service. They took my grandson into their care and did an amazing job with the video, music, service and representation of my grandson. Very warm and caring environment. I will add, at a very reasonable price as well! If I could give 10 stars I totally would.

Truly a blessing to work with. When my uncle unexpectedly passed, Brian was so kind and helpful. He took care of answering every question I threw at him and explained the process from start to finish. Being from out of state I was so afraid of being taken advantage of and wasnt sure how to handle bringing my uncle home. Michael met with me and explained all of the options.
