After the emotional experience of witnessing our mother succumb to and pass from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, and weighed down with the difficult decisions we needed to make concerning her care, it was with exponential relief that my sister and I were able to call upon Caitlin and A Cremation - Affordable Alternative once again (she had also cared for the cremation of my sister's husband). Our meeting with Caitlin was friendly and compassionate, even lighthearted, as we spoke about my mother, which my sister and I appreciated. We filled out the required paperwork effortlessly and then we were shown a binder with urns at various prices, with nary a hint of pressure - this truly is an "affordable" alternative, it's a blessedly "personal" service (I live in Rhode Island, and AC-AA was in constant contact regarding shipment of my mother's remains). I CANNOT recommend this service highly enough.

Caitlin was very professional and sweet. The process was simple and quick- it was very easy and straightforward. Very manageable for the family left behind. I highly recommend them.

USPS lost my dogs remains, I was losing sleep over it. Luckily Rachael was there to help. She took over and called the post office, and found my dog! Thank you Rachael!

I met with Justin to discuss arrangements for my husbands cremation. Justin, Elizabeth, and staff were very kind, and extremely helpful at a time when I needed guidance. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner, they even reached out to me after their services were concluded, to see if they could do anything else to help. I recommend Chestnut funeral home to anyone and everyone they are very personal understanding and they will work with you. They are very awesome. They sent me a message on my husbands birthday. When my heart was heavy, Wayne of Cremations Only was supportive and comforting. I was impressed with his professionalism and patience in my time of grief. He offered information with no pressure. He was open to to discuss anything. Frankly, I felt safe and secure in my decisions with his partnership. He was responsible, accountable and compassionate. Julie Bishop took care of my family this week when my sister passed in Clearwater. By Tuesday, they had picked her up and had the death certificates done. That's crazy fast and EFFICIENT!! They handled my dad 12 years ago and then and now, service, communication, cost, and compassion were impeccable. They truly are the best local choice.
