I found Joe Yasik and the staff of this firm to be exceptionally helpful and thoughtful when I called on them for help. Joe especially, was beyond gracious and understanding!

Brandywine Valley Funeral Care did everything they said they would and at a price I could afford. I was my great grandfathers only next of kin so I was very overwhelmed and they made it easy for me to plan his cremation. The chapel was close for both his Delaware & Pennsylvania friends to attend.

We were out of state and our plans for the service evolved. Jim was flexible, worked with our last-minute requests and made the whole process so much easier. The communication with Jim Gilmore could not have been any better. Many thanks to the team at Nichols-Gilmore that showed my family and loved one exceptional care and respect.

The entire team at Nichols-Gilmore worked tirelessly to support us during the most difficult time in our lives after we lost our mother. Unlike other places I contacted, where the focus seemed to be on money rather than support, Jim, Brendan, Maggie, and Julie prioritized our needs. They took the time to explain everything and immediately began working to ensure that our mother had a beautiful and memorable funeral. Their hard work and dedication allowed us to focus on celebrating her life rather than getting overwhelmed by the logistics of planning the funeral. I reached out to several funeral homes in the area, but many seemed more interested in the financial aspect, which is truly disheartening. Very professional and flexible

No doubt the passing of my mother and making arrangements was the hardest and most emotional life changing experience Ive gone through. Not knowing what to do and how to put things together, just wanted to honor my mom in death as I did in life. I went to Bennie Smith funeral home an hour after she passed and met with Ms. Candace. She was professional, kind and compassionate.She was patient as she got me through my tears. I explained to her how I wanted my mom to be celebrated and she made my version come true. Although I had some anxiety they were soon put to rest when I saw all the arrangements come together. Everything from the program/obituary, prayer cards, memorial display and the ballon tribute& absolutely beautiful!!! It was more than I imagined. My mother would have been proud. Thank you Bennie Smith for making this transition less stressful and a celebration of life that will be held near and dear to the hearts of the family and love ones.

I've had to use this funeral home three times now in the last decade. I've had to use them when we were prepared and, when we were not prepared with an unexpected death. Sal the funeral director is the most empathetic, compassionate man and you recieve calls of concern and willing to help even if you don't use his business. They worked on a weekend, with short notice. They gave the most, did the most and at the best price! Seriously....i did my research. From the minute we started using their services to the very end...everything was smooth, beautiful and extremely helpful. I would recommend this funeral home to anyone! Seriously... three times in a decade, I have to say I'd give them out of a 1 to 10....they get a 20 from me all day every day! Honest, compassionate care, relief for you and your family at a very hard time in life. Today I was notified that there was a social media post that Corleto-Latina funeral home was closing down. I was alarmed because we have a pre paid funeral with them. My bother and I called and spoke to a receptionist who took our info/concern and said we would get a return call. Not 5 minutes later we got a call from Sal, owner son who was very concerned with the social media post. He explained how pre purchased funerals are handled legally and assured us that Corleto - Latina is in business and servicing the community. He was empathetic and understanding of our concerns and advised us they moved across the street to a new location. He put us at ease and welcomed us to see the new location across the street.

It is important to feel respected during the most difficult time of losing a loved one. Josh Schoenberg was very professional, respectful, and kind. We are deeply grateful for how easy he made it to put our beloved son to rest. Thank you!

The best experience I ever had at a god-awful time in my life. This was handled professionally, respectfully, and proper care for everyone involved. Josh, the director is extremely intelligent and thoughtful. He knows exactly what needs to be done for a proper and respectful Jewish service. Although this is not the kind of service that you would want to have to use repeatedly, when the need inevitably occurs, there is no one in the area that I would recommend more highly than Josh and the Schoenberg Memorial Chapel.

First and foremost I want to say that the staff was so unbelievably professional and kind. everything we needed they either went above and beyond to make it happen or communicated on alternative options as quickly as possible. burying our mother today was hard but you guys made it a little easier from her casket dressing, the music, the transportation and the little touches she would have loved it. Unfortunately, I've had to interact with several funeral arranging organizations. Recently, i pre-planned my EOL arrangements at Chandler. I had a great and very professional experience. I learned a lot about the options I have, and felt a strong sense of closure on my EOL decisions. I'm not leaving a burden to anyone else, including deciding to prepay, because there were many options to fulfill this obligation. Everything about my interactions and experience was so positive, i strongly recommend contacting Chandler when you need to use their services.

We lost our guinea pigs who were cage mates within a short time-frame of one another. The hurt was overwhelming. We took our pigs here on separate occasions and were met with compassion and professionalism. Thank you so much for allowing us to hold the memory of our beloved family members.

Chris was very helpful and accommodating when our family dog, Diesel, passed during the middle of the big snow/ice storm a few weeks ago. When I dropped Diesel off and picked him back up it was an extremely quick process, but not rushed. I also found his pricing extremely reasonable, especially on the keepsake memory items. I loved how the paw print turned out that we got. I would def use him again, just hoping it wont be anytime soon! >

With as much pain that comes with losing a pet, Chris took wonderful care of us and our family. We were met with immediate kindness and compassion, and he made the entire process so much easier to make it through. He was very lenient on meeting times, both for dropping our baby off as well as picking him up. I'm so happy with the service he provided us, and with how much care he took of our TomTom. Our little old man was left in good hands, and it only took three days for us to bring him back home. I hope I won't have to see Chris again for years to come with our other cats, but when it's time, we'll be back for the same splendid treatment. I had two pets (reptiles) cremated here and both times, they were very professional, helpful, and timely. I greatly appreciated their service and love the "paw prints" in addition to the customized boxes. I absolutely plan to use them in the future when the time comes.

The staff was very friendly answered any questions I had. The place is very clean and organized and they do have very nice options for you to pick out . The prices was not bad and the major thing is, they had respect for my diseased animal when they got her out of my car they were very respectful very careful respectful all around. I would recommend this place to anybody who has lost their beloved pet and would like to have them cremated. If I could give it more stars, I would.

I cannot say enough good things about this business. I, unfortunately, have had 3 pets that have had to be handled by them. I work for one of the vets that work with them, and have gotten to speak to Rob on several occasions over the years. He truly has a passion for what he does and Im sure he wouldnt hire anyone who didnt share those values. When my last two dogs passed, the most important thing to me was having Rob and his staff take care of them. Thank you to Rob and his staff for truly caring for and respecting our pets when you care for them in the end.

My baby Winter passed away on 01/17/2025. It was a hard loss on my dog Eazy, my two sons and I. In a time when I couldnt think straight or understand what was happening I made the decision to call Animal Souls. Im so thankful that I did. They were so compassionate and continuously offered condolences. The care my family and I received from the time I made the call until the time I picked my babies ashes up was beyond belief. I am so grateful for everything that they have done. Today on 01/21/2025 I was able to receive my babies remains and although its not the same as having him running around at home. It helped fill some of this emptiness I was feeling these past few days. Thank you so much for all that you have done.

We were introduced to The Animal Soul through Lap of Love, and we are so grateful we were. Ill admit, we were hesitant about cremation at first, as we had fears and preconceived notions about the processespecially since this was the first pet we had ever had to say goodbye to, and everything happened so suddenly. Jordan, who I believe is the owner, immediately put all of our fears at ease. He took the time to walk us through the entire process with such compassion and patience. One of the most meaningful parts for us was being able to view our baby before the process began. That moment gave us a sense of closure we truly needed. Jordan explained everything step by step, never rushing us, and treated our baby with the utmost respect and care. We were given paw prints, fur, and a beautifully engraved box containing our babys ashessomething we will always treasure. While this was an incredibly devastating time for us, the experience itself was as beautiful and peaceful as one could
