I randomly reached out to D & H back in 2009 for help after having a bad funeral services experience with a different funeral home. Im almost in lower DE, but the family plot is in northern DE. My Mom didnt have life insurance & was on a fixed income. I didnt have money to pay for a funeral. In 2009, I purchased the bare bones minimum necessity pre funeral arrangements. For me I feared a weird and uncomfortable experience. However, its responsible & I highly recommend to go this route! Its so much easier, than after your loved one passes. And D & H made the process compassionate and smooth. In 2019, I was able to secure an additional contract with Julie Hennessy to pay for remaining funeral expenses. My Mom passed unexpectedly. Cole compassionately showed to pick up my Mom after she passed. He treated her body with dignity and respect. He was very kind and empathetic with us. I was surprised to receive a call from Julie, 6 years later. Julie was kind, compassionate, detail orie
Our family chose Daniels & Hutchison as they were locally owned and highly recommended for their professionalism. In addition, their personal care and consideration to our grief and needs was what truly supported us throughout the process and establishes them for a 5 star rating. Their knowledge, experience and services offered options: personal, religious, and financial. We were confident in our selections and their follow-up. The care and detail in handling all arrangements was exemplary from beginning, during and post services. Under the difficult and challenging circumstances of the passing of a loved one and the necessary arrangements that must be made, every staff member at Daniels & Hutchison who assisted us was so appreciated for their efforts, and we were very pleased with the visitation and service. It was an honor to work with them, a positive and memorable experience that helped us celebrate a life well lived with dignity and love. The Hershbergers

Cooper Wilbert Vault Company to me is a very professional Company serving Funeral Directors and Families in a very Dignified way. As a Funeral Director I Met Paul Cooper and his Staff when they first started serving in Delaware. His employees have always been professional. Mike Sartin who does the Grave Openings takes great pride in what he does. I don't get to see these folks like I used to but they have always been great with everyone they serve.

I had the best experience with Spicer-Mullikin. From start to finish, they were consummate professionals. Their caring, loving behavior made you feel like they were family. Matt took very good care of us by offering advice and giving us top-notch service, making us feel special.
My family and I appreciated the love and support of all the staff showed for the services for my husband Paul. The attention to detail from start to finish was so needed , we were all fragile in this difficult time. The facility is beautiful and immaculate, and had an area for our granddaughter. They assisted me in some forms that I needed to fill out, such a help. Thank you John Meyers and staff.
