The funeral home itself is very nice and the funeral director was very kind. No pushyness or upselling on expensive funeral services or otherwise which was very very much appreciated, and the pricing was very reasoanable. Hopefully dont have to personally use the business again for a long time for obvious reasons, but highly recommend to anybody who does need funeral services or cremation.

If your looking for a company that treats you like family. Look now futher. Bill Torbert the owner came to my mom's house to discuss my dad's affairs. He was patient, kind, low key and respectful. He explained this very well. No high pressure to upset you. Willing to help any way he could. His staff was amazing. Jim,Sharon and Jasmine were great. They are kind, willing to help. Spoke with Sharon today a year later. Knew my name. Helped me. We are using them for my Mom's funeral. If you live in Dover or surrounding area. Please consider this local comunity company.

I was at a funeral yesterday July 27, 2024@ Canaan Baptist Church in Newcastle. Val Henderson and team( Naseem, Chelsia, Carolin) they were so nice and very helpful throughout the whole service.

I cant thank Mike enough for everything he has done for me while dealing with my moms passing. My family is very small, so when it came time to make arrangements for my mom, I was the only person taking care of these tasks, and Mike really made the process as easy as possible for me. He took the time to go over everything with me & explain the processes of things to me. He never made me feel like I was bothering him or wasting his time, cause I know for a fact I needed things repeated to me just because of the stress I was under. He even answered any questions I had way after his work hours. I can say, without a doubt, I did not have to worry when it came to the preparations for my mom. I never felt pressured to make any decisions hastily nor was I misinformed about anything. I will always be eternally grateful for Mike and everything hes done. Purchasing my burial plots in advance was one of the best decisions weve made. It takes the emotional and financial burden off my children during what will already be a difficult time. We have peace of mind knowing everything is taken care of according to our wishes. We highly recommend doing this sooner rather than later. At a time when you feel most vulnerable, Cynthia worked with us showing courtesy and respect under difficult circumstances. Trader funeral home provided an excellent service for my father today. Tommy and Ross have worked with the Miller family numerous times in the past and this experience was no different. Today I attended a Aunt funeral I have been to several funerals here the staff is amazing friendly and beyond helpful and personable.

My family has never used anyone other than Traders. These guys are almost like family to us.
