The staff was very professional, and they saw to it that I was pleased with everything. The funeral director, who was in charge of my loved one, made it a point to answer all my questions and concerns, and if he couldn't, he made sure he got back to me.

I cant believe Im just now getting around to leaving a review, but in February 2023 I delivered my baby boy at 21 weeks. He was not going to survive due to him having congenital heart defects. Someone was able to pick my son up from Christiana Hospital and he was cremated free of charge. They did some more things, went above and beyond for us. I can not express my gratitude. I have had so much going on the last few years and things are finally starting to settle down so I hope that I am able to show my appreciation soon. I think about your kindness often. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

During one of the hardest days of my life, this funeral home showed true compassion and professionalism. When I called, Katie answered and immediately put me at ease. She guided me with empathy, patience, and genuine caresomething I didnt feel from any of the other funeral homes I had contacted. She was the only person after contacting 5 other funeral homes who was truly helpful and understanding. She arranged for someone to come to the house to pick up my dad, they arrived within 30 min, which brought our family so much comfort in that difficult moment. On 12/10/25 we met with Aldo to go over the arrangements, and he was truly a blessing. He went above and beyond to support our family, explaining everything clearly and treating us with respect and kindness. His compassion during such a trying time meant more than words can express. I am deeply grateful to both Katie and Aldo. Their level of care, professionalism, and genuine humanity made an unbearable situation a little easier.

Recently, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of my wife's mother. We called Alvarez Funeral Home. -Rita Alvarez & Vanesa were incredibly compassionate and patient, offering detailed and respectful information about the services available. Despite the emotional toll on us, they did everything possible to make the process as smooth and comforting as possible. The arrangements for the service and cemetery were handled with care and dignity, and our family and visitors sincerely appreciated how thoughtfully everything was managed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

I dont like to leave reviews but Ill make an exception for Whigham Funeral Home let me tell you on the day of my husband passing I did not know what to do I was so grief streaking and on top of that I had to break the news to my children. The scream that came out of them devastated me I try my best to comfort them but it gets harder and harder to stay in the house. I went out of my house to walk around and get some air thats when I met a wonderful lady while we were talking she put me on to them. I called them right away and I spoke to Mrs Terry Drew and her Daughter they were super heartwarming and helpful everyone of their staff is amazing. I didnt know what to do because that was my first time planning a funeral she helped me through out everything. They are so exceptional I believe that they are Angels amongst us. They went above and beyond to all our family needs. The tone on their voice is so soothing while they talking to you is so comforting even after the funeral she call

This Funeral Home was so beautiful and such a blessing to our family and friends as we celebrated the life of my 96 year old grandmother, Margaret Ward, being born into eternity. The amount of support and compassion and attention paid to every detail was truly amazing. Everything could not have gone more smoothly! Matt Smith and his team were so easy to work with. Everything was explained to us. On the day of the funeral they were very professional and organized. It's a difficult time for the family but they guided us thru step by step.

I have to say that Hawwah the owner and her staff gave the absolute Best-Customer-Service!! From the Beginning to the end! She told you what she offered as far as Services. I Shameerah Wesley must say this Funeral had done a great job with putting my brother Gary Harris Jr to rest!! The team helped me with pre-planning back in March so when my brother passed I didn't worry about anything. I must say anyone please just sit down with her team they will help you.
