I randomly reached out to D & H back in 2009 for help after having a bad funeral services experience with a different funeral home. Im almost in lower DE, but the family plot is in northern DE. My Mom didnt have life insurance & was on a fixed income. I didnt have money to pay for a funeral. In 2009, I purchased the bare bones minimum necessity pre funeral arrangements. For me I feared a weird and uncomfortable experience. However, its responsible & I highly recommend to go this route! Its so much easier, than after your loved one passes. And D & H made the process compassionate and smooth. In 2019, I was able to secure an additional contract with Julie Hennessy to pay for remaining funeral expenses. My Mom passed unexpectedly. Cole compassionately showed to pick up my Mom after she passed. He treated her body with dignity and respect. He was very kind and empathetic with us.
