Losing someone is one of the hardest experiences anyone can go through. When my mom passed away in 2021, this funeral home handled her cremation with such compassion that it stayed with our family. My dad was so comforted by the way they cared for her that he told us he wanted to be cremated there as well when his time came. When we recently lost him, we handled everything over the phone, and even from a distance the staffs kindness came through clearly. They were patient, understanding, and incredibly respectful throughout the entire process. Every conversation felt personal, never rushed, and they made sure we understood each step. Even without walking through their doors, we felt supported and cared for. What meant the most was how consistent their compassion was  years apart, for both of my parents. The Wyman Funeral Home team did a great job during the sudden loss. They were very professional, considerate and helpful during our suffering. They communicated very well and met their deadlines as communicated. It was an out of state coordination and they worked very quickly with other funeral home to facilitate a very successful outcome.

A wise choice was recommended by the Banner Hospital,after my wife Lisa C was diagnose with cancer, and peacefully passed away October, 7 2025 at their facility, They took care of my wife and I am graceful for the help they provided. Thank you, to the staff who took care of her needs.

Our mom passed away last week and it has been such a sad and stressful time trying to tie up all the loose ends. Someone recommended A Wise Choice and we met with Daniel today. We were expecting the arrangements to be far more complicated and expensive but we were shocked at how affordable he made it. We thought we were going to be spending $5,000+ but it actually came out to only about $1200 for cremation, 3 urns etc. Definitely not fun planning for after death services but Daniel made it much easier.

Perfect send off for Dad. James, the Director, did a fantastic job helping us through these hard times. Even some things that were done on such short notice, such as our photos for the slideshow that were sent in that morning, they were prepared by the start time and were able to be used no problem. The prices were great, the staff were great and they made everything super smooth. Can't thank them enough for such awesome service.

James made making arrangements for the services of our love one easy, taking extra time and care to deal with issues surrounding processing the death certificate paperwork, flower delivery communication issues, and processing photos into a lovely slideshow during the service as fast as he could because they weren't sent until the morning of. Everyone we spoke to was transparent, considerate, empathetic, and helpful, and I think if horizon funeral care hadn't been here then we might not have been able to have a service at all. Our loved one looked peaceful, and at rest because of the care and attention that was shown to him by the staff, and we will be glad to remember him the way we saw him today because of them.

In having to deal with the loss of a loved one it is a very hard thing to deal with. Having to deal with family issues and friends, life is hard enough. Everyone there was so nice and helpful it made everything easier. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with dealing with your tragedy.

The staff at Red Mountain funeral home were absolutely amazing helping me plan the services for my father. Because of the location of Red Mtn and where most of our family lives, having a viewing service there would have been a bit hectic during the AM commute from our homes to their location and then to the national cemetery. Tessa was amazing through this entire process. The love and warmth was unmatched. It is very difficult to lay your child to rest, and for me this is the 2nd time Ive had to do it, so it was incredibly difficult. Tessa took away my stress by answering every question and being available any time I needed her. Im very grateful to all that helped make this moment special for all of my family. In this day and age where so much is automatic recorded information and the lack of the human element, this is amazing. Ive owed Frank and his business this review for a while. Not because I promised him one, but because hes a stand up guy who did an absolutely wonderful job. I met him only the once to pick up the remains of a dear friend who passed away unexpectedly. Originally he was going to hold his ashes for the family until they could come back to Arizona (also an incredibly kind thing to do). When I arrived he was unloading waters and flowers for a service that had paid for none simply because there should be something for your dearly beloved and Frank is just that kind of person. Frank was able to cremate my dear friend for a reasonable price in a reasonable time despite my friends larger size. Frank Im sorry it took me so long, thank you for taking care of Maurice for us! Every item we purchased we are more than happy with. A great many compliments from friends & family at the services they provided. The catering menu was perfect & the food we selected was really, really good. We received many compliments on the lunch provided. The flowers were more gorgeous than the photos they were selected from. True professionals, every one of them. Your family, & family member, will be well taken care of by this group. We were in Arizona visiting family when the worst thing that could possibly happen did, we lost our precious Gus. I was devastated to think about leaving him in Phoenix when I didnt live there, and I wouldnt be able to pick him up for sometime and I didnt know what to do. We actually left him at the emergency room And I was gonna have to fly back out to get his ashes. My family looked up your services and said we could wait for him if we brought gus to you. I was heartbroken and I was devastated and then I found out. I could actually take my baby home with me like he should be, like he has been every day of his life. We drove back from Tucson to Phoenix to the hospital and picked him up and brought him to your services where we waiting for him. It was so calming in I knew from the second we got there that it was totally the right decision and I had my baby with me that day. I appreciate the sympathy cards they send periodically. Its a gentle reminder that my grief is important and understood . The cards have lifted my spirits its been almost 6 months and by then the world has moved on while I still navigate grief so the cards help ground me and the messages are filled with hope . When I came to identify my wife before her cremation, Roberta had me step into the hallway while she brought my wife into the room. When Roberta came to get me, and as I walked through the door, I saw my wife lying on the table and I immediately noticed she had on lipstick. My wife did NOT leave the house, much less even answer the door, without lipstick on. Roberta did not know that, but she put on the lipstick, and that would have made my wife supremely pleased. It is little things like that, which Roberta and everyone I dealt with at Queen of Heaven did, that made a very bad time, much more bearable.

I appreciated being able to stream this service. It was easy to access. My only disappointment in the service is when the pastor was mentioning the family he failed to mention Greg's youngest child, Anthony.

Back in October me and my wife flew in to Arizona due to the passing of my wifes brother. We went through multiple funeral homes looking for a good one. Some were really bad, one had an odor that made my wife sick. Sunflower was great. Though unfortunate circumstances we were treated with respect and kindness. Two individuals really went out of their way for us considering we were trying to get everything done in a time crunch due to a departure flight. Brenda Avila and Tiffany Killman were exceptional! They went way above and beyond. Not only did they stay late and even come in on a day off to help us but there attitude and compassion really helped in a difficult time. Thank you Brenda & Tiffany!
